The Olympics

This past weekend I spent some time watching the US Olympic trials.  I was very impressed by so many of our young athletes.  So many of them proved that through hard work and determination you can achieve your dreams.  Simone Biles shines in gymnastics and in the final rotation fell off the balance beam.  The reason I mention it is after she finished her routine she was sitting with her coach and neither of them said one word.  She had a few tears run down her cheeks as she knew she had made a mistake but you could tell was harder on herself mentally than anything her coach would be able to say to her.  After this she did her floor routine and redeemed herself.  But that desire and picture spoke volumes for who she is and how much pride she has in herself and our country.

Conversely we had an athlete, Gwen Berry, who finished third in the hammer throw, made the Olympic team and proceeded to turn her back to the flag on the podium and cover her head with a shirt reading "Activist Athlete."  When asked about it she said "But I don’t really want to talk about the anthem because that’s not important. The anthem doesn’t speak for me. It never has. My purpose and my mission is bigger than sports, I’m here to represent those … who died due to systemic racism. That’s the important part. That’s why I’m going. That’s why I’m here today.”  In other words she is not there to represent the best values of the United States, she is there to selfishly use her platform to point out how racist America is in her eyes.  For those who have kept up with this blog know I fully support free speech and every Americans right to peacefully protest.  I also believe the sports fields are not the place for such things, especially the Olympic sports fields.  I would have no problem with her leading protests, not riots, in her community or raise money to combat any racism she feels exists, just not while competing and representing America in front of the world.

Maybe I am an idealist but I have fond memories of watching the summer and winter games.  Watching the best athletes in the world compete to prove their country is the best in their respective sport.  Then when winning and standing atop the podium to have the Gold medal placed around their neck while their countries national anthem plays.  Some athletes beam with pride in the accomplishment, some break down in tears, and some stand tall and represent the best values of America.  That is what I want to see from our Olympians.  I also am not one to call for boycotts or cancelling of someone but in this case I fully support the Olympic committee removing her from the team and not allowing her to represent us on the world stage.

The obvious differences in these things is a painful reminder of what our society is becoming.  Our younger generation are becoming self entitled, unappreciative, and most of all ungrateful for all of the blessing our great country has given to them.  Why would an Olympic athlete who is obviously blessed with a great life where she is taken care of and idolized feel oppressed?  Yes there is a long history of racism in our country.  Yes racist people still exist today, although a small minority of people.  And yes when we see it we should call it out and do our best to change that mindset.  But in reality her actions just prove what our young people are being taught and groomed to think.  There is nothing wrong with patriotism and nothing wrong with being proud to be from and represent America.  Lets get back to a point where we stand on the word stage and prove why our country is the greatest in the world and why we are a beacon for all people to strive for.  I am proud to be an American despite our historical flaws.

Radical ideas in modern times

I chose this picture for todays blog because it is very accurate to my beliefs.  Unfortunately for me I am what some people call a traditionalist.  I believe there are two genders (male and female),  I believe people have the right to make whatever choices they want including their right to say what ever they want (consequences of those actions are also something I support), I believe the federal government should have minimal involvement in our lives, I think the states rights should be above federal regulation, I am a flat tax person (instead of the top 17% paying 100% of the taxes that support the US I think 100% of workers should pay their equal share, lets say 10-15%, and nobody gets a tax refund at the beginning of the year), I balance my monthly budget why should the govt be exempt?, Morals and values are absolutes (Abortion aka murder included here), and lastly my right to own and shoot firearms is a right granted to us via the constitution and should not ever be taken from law abiding citizens.

Lets dive right into gender theory, science has proven through DNA and other biological features that there are men and women.  Gender theory is a social construct that states you can be a man and "know" you are a woman so you are a woman no questions asked.  How insane does that sound?  The far left of these ideas says you can be anything you want and the world should recognize your "individuality" and those who do not are non believers in science despite the fact science completely disproves these ideas.  Yes there are genetic abnormalities, those are a very small percentage of all people born in the world.  People are not born as robots, flowers, dragons, fairies, or any other inanimate object you want to be.  Pro-nouns are complete crap.  You are a man or a woman, if you are a biological woman you will never pass as a man, period.  Same applies to natural born males who claim to be a woman.

Free speech is loved by the left and liberals alike but only if that speech agrees with their ideology.  This is a complete bullshit idea.  Free speech is free for everyone and I don't think that is a radical idea.  The natural consequence of using free speech is that your words may lead to people reacting to you negatively, assaulting you, or even putting your very life at risk.  You don't need to agree with what someone says to believe they have the right to say it.

The tax code in this country is so complex that no one person can figure it out.  The statistics of taxation are not disputed and show that the bottom 83% of tax payers pay nothing in taxes.  This means they might pay taxes out of their paychecks but the "refund" they get at tax time is equal to or greater than what was paid in thus they paid no $$ in taxes.  The top 17% pay 100% of the taxes that fund and run the govt.  How is that fair?  Also if every single worker paid a flat tax the govt would have more money to spend that they currently do.  The other benefit is that is the one true way for everyone to pay "their fair share."  If you cannot see how that is the most fair option I cannot help you.

The next point I want to give a quick take on is the Federal govt and its budget.  Year after year the feds fail to or barely make a yearly budget and it usually is full of fluff and has a shortage no matter what they do.  As normal people we are forced to live within our means, why should they not be held to the same standard?  Once again the flat tax would force them to live within a budget as the govt would know what they were getting and not be able to increase the taxes to cover their inability to live within their means.  Your money is not their money.

The lost art of morals is something we see slip further and further down the rabbit hole.  It started with the 60's and the idea of free love and the huge increase in acceptance of drugs in our culture.  The positive things from the 60's was the fight for civil rights and equality.  In the 70's we saw the beginnings of anti-male feminism.  The 80's brought punk and anti-establishment violence and the beginning of pushing women out of the home and into the workforce (I know the whole patriarchal idea blah blah blah).  The 90's-2000's brought more drug use and the beginning of division based only on the color of your skin.  We began to see riots over racial issues.  In the last 10 years we saw the rise of the trans and sexual issues.  We are now told we must acknowledge each person for their uniqueness but not to point out that difference or you are transphobic, homophobic, racist, etc.  Everyone wants to have no label placed on them but then gets upset for you no acknowledging their labels. We are also now expected to believe that a babies life is not valid until the mother approves of it and has and chooses to keep the baby.  How sick and disgusting is the idea that a life is not important until someone else says it is? How did we slip so far from where we started?

Finally our rights granted via the constitution are absolute and should not be taken from us by votes or force.  The 2nd amendment was put in place to protect us from a govt that would attempt to take our rights and harm us.  It is our one way to protect our families, friends, and way of life.  As we give a little bit to the govt they take more and want more.

As we give a little of what makes us the greatest country in the world away we fall further toward the very thing we stand against.  Now is not the time for weak men and women to give ground.  It is the time for people of strength and moral value to stand firm and stop this upcoming fall of our great country.  There is a quote which says "If you refuse to stand for something you will fall for everything."  How fitting is that for where we are at this point in time.  Don't be afraid to stand for values and moral you support.  If we do not stand and speak now we may not get the chance in the future.

Intellectual debate requires 2 intellectuals!

Throughout American history the intellectual minded people have gotten together, discussed the topics of the day and come up with solutions that both sides agreed were the best solution for the problems.  As Liberalism slowly took over the education system and colleges the idea of an intellectual debate became a thing of the past.  No longer could men and women, Democrats and Republicans, or Liberals and Conservatives sit down and discuss these things to help solve our problems.  The left raised multiple generations of students to debate with name calling and safe zones.  They are being taught if you disagree with someone that the best way to combat the other persons obvious lower IQ, since they most likely don't have a degree or any form of higher education, is to call them a racist, sexist, boomer, homophobe, transphobe, Nazi, or any other name they can think of.  Only then can you show how much more intellectual you are.  Only then can you show them how dumb they really are.  On the other side of the debate there are very intelligent people who may or may not have a degree from college.  The difference is those people want to learn, educate themselves, and discuss our times and problems to solve them, not just get handouts for being offended.

I started my life in a fairly Conservative home.  I didn't care much for politics because I did not understand why I should.  I was never taught why the decisions politicians made really mattered.  It wasn't for lack of trying on my parents part, it was school scrubbing history and starting to make the common man feel as though Conservative values, faith and other things were not important and only a tool for the evil capitalists to control us.  That is where it ended while I was in school.  Now kids are being taught our founding fathers were all racists who infused our systems with racism and no matter what POC have no chance to overcome it without violence or rebellion.  They are being told all cops are out hunting black people daily.  That rich white politicians have gamed the system to hold them back.  They are being infused with an attitude of hate and non-patriotism.  They are being divided by everything and everything is being dubbed racist.  The only thing not being dubbed racist is actual racism!

I see more and more white kids being told they are oppressors and need to beg forgiveness from their peers who are minorities.  The kids who are minorities are being told their white peers are the cause of all their problems.  White kids are being told if they do not accept and fight for the BLM movement, trans movement, or LGBTQIA+ movement then they are oppressing people and they should be met with violence.  To teachers, professors, and parents pushing these ideas I say YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!  5 year old kids don't need to know about trans genderism, sexuality, or any other adult topics.  They should be free to be kids and worry about playing and having fun.  I have found myself asking "what is the end game?"  The only way I can see it is history repeating itself.

In all of history the rich and powerful push division as a form of subservience. A way to keep the Pleebs in order and not take the power back.  America was the one country in the world who has constantly pushed to evolve and create an equal playing field.  As slavery swept the globe we went to war with one another to end it.  As women around the globe have been made to feel inferior, we as a nation pushed for women's equality.  In no way have we been perfect but we have done more to create an equal playing field than any other nation worldwide.  We have the richest poor people anywhere in the world.  We have laws in place to protect against discrimination, sexism, and all forms of crime.  So why would the powerful in our country want to end that?  It is simple, to keep their power.  The modern push for socialism because "Other times it has been tried they didn't do it right" is leading us down a path that will lead to the destruction of life as we know it.  Unless we stand and fight now we will lose all we have created.

Like I said we are far from perfect, racist people still exist although the entire country is not racist, the poor are made to feel as though they cannot or will not climb out without big daddy government handing them everything, the rich feel untouchable, and the left wants open borders and no police.  What point will it be too far gone?  At what point will fighting make no difference at all?  A quote often attributed to Thomas Jefferson but more commonly attributed to Gerald Ford states "A government big enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take everything you have." Greater words could not be spoken.  As big daddy government takes the reigns, divides us as a people and uses our youth for their own means we must realize once they get total control the people who blindly followed will be discarded and left for dead.  Conservative values are not sexist, racist or any other -ist you can find.  They are patriotic, seek equality, and express love and support for our fellow Americans.  If you are more liberal please find sources which back your positions and stop calling people you disagree with names.  Let us unite as We the People before it is too late!

21 days later

It has been 3 weeks since I posted on here, man how quickly life speeds by when you are busy.  So we are finally at the first 100 days of the new Presidency and things could not be going any better for the progressive movement in our country.  The border is swarmed with illegals to the point of needing to house them at hotels the govt is paying for, riots and violence still grace a lot of major cities,  the lockdowns and covid fear is still coursing through Americans because our media has overhyped it, there has been a huge push to remodel our education system so our kids as young as 5 can learn about gender and sexuality issues and most of all the Pres/VP have been completely useless and avoiding accepting responsibility for any of it.

So this blog could cover all of that but I want to focus on the gender studies and transsexual issue in this one.  I have a friend in Denver whos teen daughter came out as transgender a few months back.  We spoke briefly about it and my friend seemed to be taking a slow and cautious approach in "allowing" it.  As stories have come out about trans athletes I have voiced my opinion that allowing trans girls to compete with naturally born girls creates an unfair competition as naturally born boys are physiologically stronger.  I covered that in a previous blog so no need to go back into it here.  I also voiced my opinion that allowing children to use hormone blockers before they begin puberty is child abuse in my opinion.  Now science backs my position as these blockers have caused long term infertility issues in people who took them to transition and then wanted to change back after realizing it was a mistake.  In the end my friend went off on me about being a transphobe and telling me to stop pointing out the flaws in their thinking and "logic".  Now I understand supporting your child but how can you possibly deny science and facts?

How do people not see the danger and harm in promoting young kids taking these things or wanting to change their physical form?  Can these mothers and fathers not see the damage it is going to do to their child??  I support any post puberty (around 25 years of age) adult from making whatever decisions they want with their bodies because they know what it is like to live as a man or woman.  Children don't even know what a boy or girl feels like.  I know every single boy has worn his moms heels or girl has played with GI Joes at some point in our lives, does that make us all Trans?  No it doesn't.  When did it become so not normal to be a boy who plays dress up or a girl who like boy stuff?  It is perfectly ok for you to be a girl who likes more masculine things or a boy who likes more feminine things without thinking you are the opposite gender from your birth.

I will end this on a few truths nobody else is willing to state so clearly:

1. Men are naturally stronger than women.  The physiology of our bodies is science and this has been proven

2. Most people go through puberty and question their sexuality, that does not mean they are gay, lesbian, trans, or whatever other letters you want to use!

3. The trans movement, if left unchecked and stopped, will destroy womanhood.  It already has made the one thing women can do that men cannot, have babies, something men can do as well.  This movement has single handedly taken away the very thing that women have.

So there you have it.  I am standing up for women and standing against the removal of things that put their very existence at risk.  I saw a quote today and I agree with it.  IT stated "You cannot be a feminist and transsexual activist".  This is true because one is trying to get rid of the other.  Stand up for women and girls, protect those who are being overwhelmed.

What is faith?

Yesterday was Easter Sunday.  When I was a kid it is one of two days I would attend church willingly, the other was Christmas eve.  When I think back on why those were the two days it doesn't even take a sec to make the connection on why, Jesus.  We as people of faith celebrate Christmas as a way to remember the birth of Christ and the amazing gift he was to this world.  At Christmas we as Americans tend to get caught up in the glitz and glamor and forget that the reason for the holiday and I personally think the reason for the Christmas Spirit is Jesus.  That feeling we all get when the seasons change, the lights and trees start to go up, and we begin smiling more and looking forward to those days spent close to our families, that is the love Christ had and gave to those around him.  So it makes sense that we fondly think of that time of year as mostly positive and enjoyable.  This weekend the faithful take time to remember his ultimate sacrifice.  But most of all his willingness to suffer for all of mankind.

Often when I think of the story of Jesus and his crucifixion I have a very hard time thinking of him as ever being human.  Throughout the bible we see him performing miracles, loving unconditionally, and most of all never making human mistakes.  In paintings he is shown in his glory and outlined with a white glow or descending from the heavens with hosts of angels.  People glorify him and rightfully so.  But when it is Easter and people are focusing on his agony I find my self focused on one of the few times in the scriptures he is very human, the Garden of Gethsemane.  As this glorified being went to the garden before ultimately being captured, tortured and killed he knelt in prayer to his father.  He knew by this time what his destiny and purpose was yet he went and "Fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I but as thou wilt."  He was asking God to stop his death, pleading for something he knew was not possible.  He then went to his disciples before returning a second time and praying "O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done."  A third time he prayed saying the same words.  So three separate times he expressed fear and doubt, both very human emotions.  When I think of this part of the bible it stands alone as the one time Jesus is human.  After that he is taken and the rest is history.

Just the other day I was discussing our current times and faith after seeing an article which said for the first time in our countries history less than 50% of people say they are religious or have some sort of faith.  That got me thinking of all the things today that I see in movies, music, tv, and all other forms of entertainment.  It was then that I made a connection to the Garden of Eden and how Satan has not changed his method in attempts to cause the fall of man.  In the Garden he tempts Adam and Eve by saying "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." To put it in more modern terms Satan is saying God is telling them not to eat it because then they will have all he has.  That God has established that rule to prevent them from something.  When I remembered that it was quickly apparent that Satan has not changed his tactics at all. Today world leaders, rich elites, and the most powerful people in the world are using the exact same tactics to maintain their wealth and power over others.  The ruling elites tell the poor that their problems are because the rich are holding them down.  They tell the rich the poor are trying to take what they have earned.  They tell the minority populations it is the majorities fault they cannot succeed.  They tell the majority the minorities are below them and should be pushed back down.  As you can see the tactic is the same.  Unfortunately the result will be the same in the end as well.  We are becoming a society of self centered and jealous cry babies who are not willing to accept that our own actions have caused all of our issues.  We are unwilling to teach our youth that decisions have consequences. We are unwilling to uplift those who are struggling just as much as they are unwilling to realize they can do it and need to put in the efforts to make change.  I see this as the beginning of the end.

This weekend made me think long and hard about my life, my faith and my current struggles in finding that joy.  It was a very nice way to end the weekend watching the two hour Sunday morning session of conference.  It made me realize I need to find ways everyday to strengthen my faith and help to build that "Christmas feeling" in my everyday life.  So I am going to find a way to be more like Christ in my everyday.  For a few years I would gather people and food and create lunch bags and then distribute them to the homeless in my city.  After every event I would feel so much joy and happiness.  Since then I have been fostering dogs and helping them find new homes.  But I can and will do more.  So if you have any suggestions or ideas please let me know.

I know this has not been my typical blog post but I am much deeper than just my politics!  If you enjoyed this please let me know and maybe I will include more of my personal side in this thing.

Catching up on America

9 days since my last post and a lot has happened in America that I want to cover.  So this post will hit the top events going on and my feelings about them.  As you can see from the picture everything going on will be open to interpretation.

So lets start with our fearless leader, President Joe Biden.  In recent videos and press conferences we saw him lose his train of thought and mumble himself off stage, trip going up the stairs to Air Force One twice, and assign what is possibly the least qualified person to tackle the debacle on the border, Kamala Harris.  The one thing I have to say about this is I truly feel sorry for him.  He is obviously not well mentally or physically yet the left and the Democrats are pulling him along like Bernie in the movie Weekend at Bernie's.  It is a disgrace that they seem to want all of us to not believe what we are seeing and that he is still the vigorous politician of his hay day.  That leads to the second big thing that has happened, the crisis going on at the border.

We have seen interviews with the "refugees" admitting they only came here due to Biden being in the office and if Trump was still there they would not even have tried it.  The media has been kept out of the detention centers until the past few days when the over crowding and conditions have been brought to light.  I saw a video yesterday of smugglers dropping a 4 and 7 year old girl over the 14 ft border fence and left them, miles from the nearest anything.  Our border patrol rescued them and also another baby who was dumped into the Rio Grand by coyotes.  We are seeing border patrol being told to release the illegal immigrants without any sort of court day setup and no way to track these people.  If we do not get this under control I honestly believe we will see the decline of America sped up at an alarming rate.  So Kamala was put in charge of getting it under control to which she has avoided visiting the border or the detention centers and actually laughed at a reporter who asked her if she was going to.

We also saw several mass shootings.  Conservatives responded by preaching about self defense and using the 2nd amendment freedoms we have.  Liberals demanded more gun control and taking of weapons.  Same shit different day I guess.

Several states have put bans in place preventing Trans-athletes from competing with the group opposite their biological sex, ie trans-women in women's sports.  The left immediately rose in defense of Trans-girls being girls, despite the science that says otherwise.  Here is my take, the science and physiology of men and women is different.  If you look at only the physiology you will see why this idea of allowing men to play women's sports is a bad idea.  I also have previously written a blog about this so all my research is there if you want to read an in depth analysis of my thoughts.

GA and other states have passed laws protecting voting integrity.  They have things like Voter ID, minimal mail-in voting, and a limit on when polls would close and voting would end, hint it is all the same day ending at 5pm in most cases.  The case that has been presented against voter ID is that poor, marginalized and elderly people would not be able to get one, thus preventing them from voting and ultimately being a racist policy.  The left wing media giants and other companies have begun to push for banning their companies from working in GA and the other states.  In essence punishing the govt and people of GA for trying to make the voting fair and equal.

The covid vaccine is being shot out in mass everyday and we are still under lockdowns and told to avoid people and wear masks at all times.  For those who don't see the problem here nothing I say will make you realize how stupid this is.  I have gotten my 1st vaccine and I only wear a mask when absolutely needed.

Our kids are still being kept at home and taught from a distance but the illegal immigrant kids in San Diego county are being given in person instruction by the same teachers unions who say that is dangerous and have fought against going back to class.  Why are the tax dollars being paid by parents in San Diego being used to educate illegal immigrants in person but it is too dangerous for the children of those parents to go back to class?

I will sum the past 3 months with this final paragraph.  Trump preached America first and his policies and negotiations with other countries put the interests of America first in ever way.  We became energy independent and saw gas prices stay below $2/gallon a majority of his term in office.  We saw the flow of illegals into the country slow to a trickle (about 850/day).  We saw jobs created and unemployment hit the lowest it has ever been across all demographics.  We saw major corporations return to America to produce their products which was a huge boost and led to the best economy we have ever had.  But last Nov he was "voted" out because he was mean and tweeted things!  Since Biden took office thousands of jobs have been lost, unemployment is rising, illegal immigration has sky rocketed (now almost 6,000/day), big companies are leaving for other countries to avoid the coming tax hikes, violence is on the rise, and policies being proposed will sink us trillions upon trillions into further debt.  3 full months into 2021 and at this rate we will be lucky to make it to December.

The Patriarchy is alive and well

In 1848 the first Women's Rights Convention was held in New York with 300 attendees.  This event eventually led to the passage of the 19th Amendment to our constitution which gave women the right to vote. Oct 16, 1916 the first birth control clinic was opened leading to the creation of Planned Parenthood. April 2, 1917 Jeanette Rankin of Montana was sworn in as the first woman elected to Congress in the House of Representatives.  Dec 1, 1955 Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man and helped to launch the civil rights movement for African Americans.  The list goes on and leads us to a new era of "womanhood." An era in which men are now taking back women's sports, women's locker rooms and bathrooms, and even winning women's beauty contests.  These things are being done in the name of equality.  The reality of it all is that each of these things is working to erase womanhood all together.

For our entire history women have had to work hard to overcome sexism and bias.  They have worked and strived to be considered equal to men.  The left has made it a point in recent years to push a trans agenda which removes all the strides and accomplishments women have made, take sports for example. Female athletes have worked to create their own leagues, compete in the Olympics, and in some cases compete head to head with men in certain sports.  We have seen women's sports records smashed.  Powerlifting records at one time were being beaten by ounces are now being blown away by hundreds of pounds.  UFC added a trans-woman fighter who in the first two fights fractured the opponents skulls and in one case the opponent was not told their opponent was a trans-woman.  Why is this seen as advancing women's equality?  In all these cases men are being allowed to dominate women and prevent them from an equal playing field.  Why no create trans only leagues so the playing field is equal?

Trans-women are now allowed to use the woman's locker rooms and bathrooms, all in the name of equality.  It makes me very uncomfortable to know that girls and women are now going to have grown men using the same facilities and changing next to one another.  I understand not all trans-women are predators but laws like this allow those predators a fresh hunting ground by simply claiming they are trans.  This removes all natural females right to privacy and creates a very dangerous situation for each and very one of them.  Conversely allowing a trans-man into locker rooms and bathrooms creates the same danger for them.  It gives them zero protection from predators who would take advantage of that situation.  Why not create trans-only facilities and locker rooms?

As long as humans have existed women have been able to do one thing men have not, give birth to babies.  This is the defining thing that separates women and men.  Yet a few weeks ago I read an article about the first trans-man to give birth.  He and his partner, a trans-woman, got pregnant and had a child.  In essence a man and woman had a baby.  But the article touted that men can now have babies.  Why is it ok for a trans-male to take away the only thing that women can do that men cannot?  Is this not a direct violation of all the progress made by women throughout history?

For as long as men and women have been in existence there has been a separation, not for inequality but to allow the sexes equal footing among their same gender.  Physiologically man and women are different.  From our bones density to our muscle fiber structure.  Men are naturally stronger and are able to do things women will never be able to.  The other side is women are mentally more tough and are able to do things like give birth and create life.  These differences should be celebrated, not destroyed.  The liberal left has taken all the equality that women have fought tooth and nail for and given it back to men with the trans movement.  All the things women have accomplished are being destroyed in the name of trans equality.  The picture on the top of this article says Tran women are women and that could not be any further from reality.

Words are not violence

For the past 24 years of my life I have spent Sept 11 watching documentaries about the terrorist attack on the twin towers in New York and h...
