Living in the void

For the past 8 months my entire life has been one of living in the void.  What exactly do I mean by this?  I moved back home to Denver, CO back in March.  My company was supposed to have me working a program located in Colorado Springs, CO starting in June but between March and June I would work in Aurora, CO.  So, I temporarily began living back home with my parents.  Long story short, 8 months later I am still living in my parents' basement, I am still not working in Colorado Springs and most of all I am not assigned to any program but instead am working as a fill-in or as needed system administrator for the company.  Many other admins have come in since I got here and they are all working daily in their program spaces, this includes one who was also assigned to the Springs.  He was moved to a position in Aurora.  "Why are you telling me this?" you are asking, well its simple, my life is mimicking what we are seeing in our country and government in recent years.

Currently in the USA we see generations of lost people, filling the void day in and day out.  These people go through their day without ever striving for the self-fulfillment that comes from accomplishment.  We see them using their coworkers and complaining about having to actually do their job instead of enjoying social time with their friends.  We see them jump from job to job based solely on how much money someone will pay them.  They have no pride in their work and could care less if the company remains in business.  They get their paper from the college, jump to the highest bidder with no loyalty and refuse to better themselves for any reason other than money.  Then they go to the bars or clubs in hopes of finding the next person to wake up next to in bed regretting the choices the night before.  They don't look for relationships because much like job loyalty a relationship would require selflessness and giving of oneself for another and they were not raised with these values.  The non-committal nature has been ingrained in their minds from an early age. Values such as hard work, loyalty, commitment, value, respect, and others are foreign concepts. In the end they don't find their work or personal life fulfilling at all.

Our government is another example of people who live in the void.  In this case the void is Washington DC and politics.  Our "leaders" visit their home states for short periods of time to shake hands and kissing babies while lying to their voters faces knowing all along their loyalty is with lobbyists and other politicians.  The world they live in is full of lies, deceit, backstabbing, and most of all lots and lots of money.  Recently we have seen multiple politicians exposed for bribery and violating laws that any "normal" person would be put in jail for. Our very own "elected" President has been exposed for taking bribes from our enemies. His kid exposed for multiple drug felonies, gun violations and tax evasion and yet still not locked up.  Another Democratic congressman was exposed for taking bribes and was found with money, gold bars, and other "benefits" in his house, yet he walks free too.  Mainly the media is focused on Donald Trump and his "trial" as they feel his business dealings were felonious and he attempted to cite and insurrection, neither of which happened.  But this is the void they live in.  Career politicians are excused for shitty behavior while the everyday man is locked up for minor offenses.  In spite of his money Trump is the everyday man.  He should be looked at by every American as the example of how the corrupt system will stop at nothing to silence you if you don't "play the game" and go along with the status quo.  This should scare every single American.  If both sides of the political coin can do anything and everything to lock up a billionaire for doing nothing worthy of criminal charged imagine what they can do to you.

It has become clear to me in recent months the only way out of the void is to turn towards faith.  Whatever your faith turn towards your God and follow the examples outlined in scripture.  Step outside of yourself and do for others before yourself.  Take pride in your work and establish a great work ethic.  Do what is right no matter how difficult it might be.  Don't Netflix and chill, take time for courtship and find your lifelong love.  Have babies and raise a family. The only way evil can triumph is for good men do nothing.  Find a way out of the void you are living in and move someone else to do the same.  Be the pebble which makes ripples in your small pond and in time all the ripples will have a major impact!

I for one am working to find my way out of the void I have been in.  Trying to find a way to have a positive impact on my surroundings.  I encourage you to do the same.

Just to be clear

In recent blogs I have spoken about the "trans" agenda and the negative impact it is having on our society.  It has been brought to my attention that my thoughts and feelings come across as against trans-people in its entirety, I was unaware it was being taken that way so this blog is to clarify my positions on two topics in particular, abortion and Transgenderism.

Lets start by saying my beliefs in both topics are of two minds, my personal belief and my societal belief.  Lets start with abortion.  In my personal life I 100% am against abortion except for the medical need to save the mothers life or in the case of still-born babies.  I do not believe abortion should be used as a form of birth control.  I believe a woman and mans choice happens before sexual intercourse ever takes place.  I support teaching all young adults how to respect their bodies, have good morals and values and most of all be more selective in partners knowing the risk of pregnancy happens any time someone has sex.  Now societally I know in the end I am not the person who needs to stand before God and answer for my decisions and choices here on Earth.  I do not support a complete ban or complete legalization of abortion.  Men and women with their doctors need to be the only people involved in such decision.  Keep in mind a majority of planned parenthoods profit off of abortion and I have heard way to many stories of "doctors" at these places convincing women they NEED an abortion or their life will be ruined.  I have heard from some people due to the possibility of birth defects they were told to abort their baby, they didn't, and the children were born completely healthy.  So that's it, my extremely controversial opinion on that.

Now to the Trans movement.  When I rally against castration and HRT of kids under the age of 18 I am not saying that adults cannot choose to do whatever and believe whatever they want.  It is our responsibility as humans to protect children at all cost!  Hence why I include abortion in this blog.  Transgender individuals have a mental disorder and need mental health therapy, not hormone replacement.  But as adults people can do whatever they want to and I am not against banning those things FOR ADULTS!  I do believe any parent who pays for HRT and mutilation of their children should be arrested for child abuse.  Socially they should allow their kids to dress how they want and ask their friends to use a nickname if they choose.  But forcing families to use pronouns opposite of their born gender, cutting off families who don't and demanding lawsuits and such for people who oppose such abuse is insane.  Parents need to get their kids to a psychologist, not a "gender-affirming" doctor.  If I affirmed what my kids thought they were as kids I would have had dinosaurs, tigers and all the like.  ALL people at some point in puberty question who they are, feel out of place or feel like they don't fit in.  Until recently that was normal and not seen as a demand for physical change of your healthy body. All of us have at one point felt weird or different.  Tomboys like mud and trucks but were never questioned as boys.  Less masculine guys were never told they were girls, they just weren't so masculine.  None of your hobbies or interests make you the other gender/sex, they were just things you liked.   Telling kids under 18 that their interests define their natural born sex/gender is wrong.  Stop forcing kids to attend sexualized drag shows and stuff dollars in the G-Strings of men shaking fake tits and acting like that is normal.  Stop forcing kids to dress as a girl and answer to a girls name if they are born a boy.  Stop confusing your kids and let them be kids.  There have been trans people for as long as anyone can remember, now they are forcing kids into that as well.  The pendulum has shifted so far left it will swing back right just as far and that wont be healthy either.  I don't support bans on adults who believe they are transgender; I do support bans on castrating and harming kids.  I don't support bans on drag shows, I support bans on "child-friendly" of "family-friendly" drag shows as no such thing exists.  We don't allow kids to buy alcohol, cigarettes, get tattoos, etc. but sure let them cut of their body parts, does that make sense to anyone?

So as you can see I don't support legalizing or banning things, but common sense must prevail.  I will continue to fight to protect children, women and animals.  Those are my positions.  Feel free to share and comment.  I am always open to new ideas or facts that may change my position!

2 years later

Ok so it has been more than a few months since I took a break from this blog, but I am back!  I took the time off to pay attention to the world we are living in and watch the shift in the political spectrum.  Hopefully this is the first of my blogs I post this year.

Now lets get into my thoughts and feelings about the past two years.  From 2019-2020 I posted a lot on Facebook and other social media about my view on many topics.  I also started this blog and shared similar positions and thoughts.  Back then the "left leaning" advocates were operating somewhat in the shadows, denying the agenda they were pushing for and working hard behind the scenes to change generations of children against the country and traditional values.  How did they do this?  It started in public schooling and the curriculum.  Until the lockdowns during Covid many parents were unaware of exactly what their children were being taught in school.  Often a kid's rebelliousness would be blamed on growing up, truth was they were being indoctrinated to a belief that forced that rebellion.  Parents began to see kids as young as kindergartners being exposed to sexual relationships, race relations, and general anti-family beliefs.  While children eventually need to have that exposure, it needs to be done at home, not the classroom.  A lot of the beliefs being taught run counter to families with strong religious or traditional values.  After the lockdowns ended, we saw a large number of children being taken out of public school and either homeschooled or placed in private schools which give parents more control over the curriculum.  At this point logic would state the public schools would move further from the fringe topics and get back to the basics.  Fact is they did the exact opposite.  We now see drag shows in school assemblies, activist flags and slogans posted in classrooms, and teachers fighting to keep control over "their kids."  The left chose to double down, strip off the masks and very publicly advocate for the ability to indoctrinate our kids.

And the schools are just the beginning.  We saw Row V Wade overturned and the abortion regulation turned back over to the state.  So what was the reaction from the left to this?  Mass protests, violence, and an immediate movement to tell women they now were being oppressed and prevented from having bodily autonomy and reproductive rights.  The idea that reproductive rights start after pregnancy is simply wrong.  Womens reproductive autonomy and freedom starts before the sexual act even occurs!  We tell women it is empowering to sleep around, get pregnant and dispose of their kids.  Women are truly empowered by being able to be selective in partners, prevent pregnancy, and most of all respect themselves enough to know they have more value than what is between their legs.  Men also have the same value and empowerment.  Being a player and having multiple children with multiple women isn't empowering, it is low down and shady.  Men have more value than what is between their legs too.  Yes sex is fun, pleasurable and something most adults enjoy, pregnancy is the direct risk of this action, protected or not.  We should be teaching our children self-respect, respect for human life and also their value in life not just the bedroom.

We have seen a rise in the LGBTQIA+ movement and the desire to sexualize and allow children to go through gender affirming care aka mutilating themselves for life for temporary feelings.  We need to let kids be kids.  Adults can choose that life or not but most humans brains are not fully developed until their mid 20's.  Why would anyone allow kids as young as 5 to dress in drag, take hormone replacement medication and even go through surgery to remove healthy body parts all in the name of "understanding." The studies show that a large percentage of young children that are not given those options choose to not do them later in life.  And those given those options have a high percentage who detransition later in life and regret those choices.  As parents it is our job to help out kids navigate the world and discover who they truly are.  Help them understand everyone at one point or another feels like they are in the wrong body and have no idea why they feel that way.  The wrong way to help is to agree with the confusion and push them to make life altering choices that may or may not be reversible.  The left is normalizing "family-friendly" all ages drag shows.  They are making tv shows highlighting young kids in drag or sexualized situations and telling the world the kids are "Brave" "Bold" and "revolutionary".  The reality is that it is grooming our kids to not understand "stranger danger" and make them feel like some of these people are threats.  I know not all of them are that way but any group of people who engage with young children there is a greater possibility of pedophiles wanting to be involved.

The left is manipulating language to make terms less "offensive."  Here is a not so finite list of the most obvious:

1. Pedophile.  Has been rebranded as a "minor attracted person".  We are told this is a sexuality similar to being attracted to the same sex.  Normalizing this behavior was the "slippery slope" argument right leaning people were accused of pushing and then actively told "that would never happen." But here we are.

2. Illegal Immigrant- The left now wants us to use the term non-documented migrant or asylum seekers.  So why does this matter?  Simple the act of illegally crossing the border is a crime.  These people are allowed to seek asylum from tyrannical governments, that is true.  But the rule is you can seek it from the closest country to your own.  Many of these people come from South America and travel through multiple countries to America when they should stop in one of the many countries they travel through.

3. Patriot- These people are now being called "white supremacists" and we are being told it is due to white people being racist and all patriots are white people.  Very flawed argument.  Reality is all Americans should be patriotic!  It is our country and laws that give us the freedoms these very same leftists are using to change things.

4. Racism- Is now being positioned and pushed as anything done by white people which negatively impacts minorities. Truth is racism is any race which does negative things to any other race simply because of the race.   Every single skin color can be racist.  We will never solve racism by enacting laws which are racist.

Like I said just a starting list for my fight against the injustice I am seeing this year.  Next blog I will be tackling our election system and why I feel a change should be made!

If you read this and want more of my thoughts please send a comment and let me know!

Radical ideas in modern times

I chose this picture for todays blog because it is very accurate to my beliefs.  Unfortunately for me I am what some people call a traditionalist.  I believe there are two genders (male and female),  I believe people have the right to make whatever choices they want including their right to say what ever they want (consequences of those actions are also something I support), I believe the federal government should have minimal involvement in our lives, I think the states rights should be above federal regulation, I am a flat tax person (instead of the top 17% paying 100% of the taxes that support the US I think 100% of workers should pay their equal share, lets say 10-15%, and nobody gets a tax refund at the beginning of the year), I balance my monthly budget why should the govt be exempt?, Morals and values are absolutes (Abortion aka murder included here), and lastly my right to own and shoot firearms is a right granted to us via the constitution and should not ever be taken from law abiding citizens.

Lets dive right into gender theory, science has proven through DNA and other biological features that there are men and women.  Gender theory is a social construct that states you can be a man and "know" you are a woman so you are a woman no questions asked.  How insane does that sound?  The far left of these ideas says you can be anything you want and the world should recognize your "individuality" and those who do not are non believers in science despite the fact science completely disproves these ideas.  Yes there are genetic abnormalities, those are a very small percentage of all people born in the world.  People are not born as robots, flowers, dragons, fairies, or any other inanimate object you want to be.  Pro-nouns are complete crap.  You are a man or a woman, if you are a biological woman you will never pass as a man, period.  Same applies to natural born males who claim to be a woman.

Free speech is loved by the left and liberals alike but only if that speech agrees with their ideology.  This is a complete bullshit idea.  Free speech is free for everyone and I don't think that is a radical idea.  The natural consequence of using free speech is that your words may lead to people reacting to you negatively, assaulting you, or even putting your very life at risk.  You don't need to agree with what someone says to believe they have the right to say it.

The tax code in this country is so complex that no one person can figure it out.  The statistics of taxation are not disputed and show that the bottom 83% of tax payers pay nothing in taxes.  This means they might pay taxes out of their paychecks but the "refund" they get at tax time is equal to or greater than what was paid in thus they paid no $$ in taxes.  The top 17% pay 100% of the taxes that fund and run the govt.  How is that fair?  Also if every single worker paid a flat tax the govt would have more money to spend that they currently do.  The other benefit is that is the one true way for everyone to pay "their fair share."  If you cannot see how that is the most fair option I cannot help you.

The next point I want to give a quick take on is the Federal govt and its budget.  Year after year the feds fail to or barely make a yearly budget and it usually is full of fluff and has a shortage no matter what they do.  As normal people we are forced to live within our means, why should they not be held to the same standard?  Once again the flat tax would force them to live within a budget as the govt would know what they were getting and not be able to increase the taxes to cover their inability to live within their means.  Your money is not their money.

The lost art of morals is something we see slip further and further down the rabbit hole.  It started with the 60's and the idea of free love and the huge increase in acceptance of drugs in our culture.  The positive things from the 60's was the fight for civil rights and equality.  In the 70's we saw the beginnings of anti-male feminism.  The 80's brought punk and anti-establishment violence and the beginning of pushing women out of the home and into the workforce (I know the whole patriarchal idea blah blah blah).  The 90's-2000's brought more drug use and the beginning of division based only on the color of your skin.  We began to see riots over racial issues.  In the last 10 years we saw the rise of the trans and sexual issues.  We are now told we must acknowledge each person for their uniqueness but not to point out that difference or you are transphobic, homophobic, racist, etc.  Everyone wants to have no label placed on them but then gets upset for you no acknowledging their labels. We are also now expected to believe that a babies life is not valid until the mother approves of it and has and chooses to keep the baby.  How sick and disgusting is the idea that a life is not important until someone else says it is? How did we slip so far from where we started?

Finally our rights granted via the constitution are absolute and should not be taken from us by votes or force.  The 2nd amendment was put in place to protect us from a govt that would attempt to take our rights and harm us.  It is our one way to protect our families, friends, and way of life.  As we give a little bit to the govt they take more and want more.

As we give a little of what makes us the greatest country in the world away we fall further toward the very thing we stand against.  Now is not the time for weak men and women to give ground.  It is the time for people of strength and moral value to stand firm and stop this upcoming fall of our great country.  There is a quote which says "If you refuse to stand for something you will fall for everything."  How fitting is that for where we are at this point in time.  Don't be afraid to stand for values and moral you support.  If we do not stand and speak now we may not get the chance in the future.

Who has responsibiities and who has rights?

As a conservative I often reference our Bill of Rights in my discussions with Liberals.  Often we get into the weeds when discussing things like the 2nd amendment and the right to bear arms is brought up  I often hear "The founding fathers meant muskets and cannons not AR-15's and modern weapons".  To this my response is always "Well then they must have meant the right to free speech was reserved to carrier pigeon and quill pens".  In listening to a podcast by Matt Walsh today he noted that using the Bill of Rights was an ineffective argument.  He played a video clip of Joe Biden discussing the wearing of masks and pointed out that Biden used phrases like "It is our responsibility to care for one another".  He then goes on to explain why that is a much more effective way to justify our rights.

As for the 2nd amendment I will say this, it is our responsibility to protect our loved ones.  One of the most effective ways to do this is owning and knowing how to use guns.  It is also my responsibility to select the gun I feel is best suited to provide that protection.  It should not matter if I want a slingshot or an AR-15, it should ultimately be which ever makes me feel the most secure.  It also should be what makes my family feel the most secure.  So crafting this as my responsibility instead of my right leaves little room for argument.  Either you want me to responsibly protect my loved ones or you want them to be vulnerable to being killed.

Secondly lets look at children and parenting.  In our society we are told of many things not specifically outlined as rights that we are told are indeed rights.  One of these is abortion.  We are told it is a woman's right to be able to abort her unborn children.  Let me counter this by saying I think it is a parents responsibility to protect their children before and after birth.  If you disagree then I am going to assume you are ok with parents killing children.  My only question then becomes at what age are we not allowed to kill our children, their 18th birthday?  That of course opens up a whole new look at the legal system.  The other aspect of parenting is discipline.  I think a parent should be allowed to discipline the way they see fit as long as it does not cross into abuse.  So I would say spanking is ok, but using some form of device to hit your child is not.  Of course people disagree on this and that is ok.

Lastly I want to point out the right to peacefully assemble.  It might seem self explanatory but it is not.  On every single news channel today we see violent protests, arsons, looting, assaults, and murders all in the name of our right to assemble.  I would like to argue my point by saying it is our responsibility to protect our fellow citizens, protect businesses, and most of all respect our law enforcement and not attack them.  The term peacefully seems to be forgotten in these times and that is where the rights argument wont stick.  It is also our responsibility to express our discontent at our government through voting and peaceful protest.

While we are guaranteed rights in the Bill of Rights relying on them to argue points has become a vast carousel that no one ever wins.  We go around and around about what rights we have and what they mean.  I think getting down to our responsibilities instead is a much better way to discuss these issues.  As always lets discuss!

Movements of inequality

In this era of people demanding they be heard and represented we have seen the destruction of science, the rise of re-segregation, and the destruction of masculinity as we know it.  We have seen the rise of movements which claim there are thousands of genders, African Americans are still enslaved and hunted by authorities due to racism, women have never been nor are they currently equal to men in the work force, and schools are where your child should be taught morals and values and you as parents are to uneducated to properly teach them.  I thought I would cover these movements today and why we need to get back to some form of normal.

Lets start with what I feel is the most outrageous and scientifically inaccurate "movement", there are more than two genders.  When I was in school I learned that there were two genders, men and women. As of an article dated Dec 2019 there are 64 terms to describe gender identity and expression.  The term Gender Neutral pronoun is often used to describe what a person feels they are and that is not just male or female.  Some of these pronouns tell you what to call yourself if you feel like a robot, alien, car, dog, cat, etc.  The list is thousands of terms deep and it is absolutely ridiculous.  I recently heard that we are no longer aloud to use the term woman to describe someone who should get cervical exams and can give birth.  Instead we are supposed to use the phrase "person with a cervix".  Here is my biggest problem with this one, ONLY women have a cervix, can give birth, and need cervical exams for cancer.  This movement is a mental disorder and we need to put a stop making it normal.  I am asking anyone out there if you have any scientific evidence to refute the fact there is only 2 genders/sexes please let me know and I will gladly change my opinion.  That evidence cannot start with the phrase "They feel like....."

In the most recent movement, which I wont call outrageous or unnecessary is the Black lives matter movement.  What I will say is outrageous is the organization itself.  The organization has pushed for a re-segregation of college dormitories and spaces to create "black only" bathrooms, dorms, and rec spaces.  They are also pushing for the defunding of police.  The problem there is defunding or disbanding the police will negatively impact the black community the most.  Rich people will not be hurt by this as they can afford walls, private security, and other forms of protection that poor and impoverished people cannot.  We saw this play out in the CHOP zone in Seattle.  Police left and the area was turned over to a rapper names RAZ who brought in his own security forces with zero oversight.  Crime increased and within mere days the zone was in chaos and people had been beaten, robbed and murdered.  The civil rights movement fought hard to rid the US of segregation and make us a more united people.  This organization is trying their best to divide us.  That is the biggest problem with it as I see it.

We have also been taught recently that women make far less than their male counterparts in the work place.  In 2018 we were told women made .82 for every dollar a man in the same position made.  What the proponents fail to take into account is the education, work history, time in position, or seniority in the company.  When those things are taken into account we see that regardless of gender the pay for the person with fewer of these factors is less than someone meeting more of them.  There was a time where women were not provided the opportunity at certain positions based solely on their gender and we have taken steps to rid or workplaces of that.  The gender wage gap movement would have you believe more qualified women are being paid less simply by what is in their pants.  This itself is wholly inaccurate.

Finally our education system has been affected by a movement as well.  It is a movement to teach our kids a false history of our country, of biology, and most of all of that the parents know nothing and they need to teach them.  I have personally witnessed our history being removed and replaced.  My oldest son came home when he was in third grade with a poster he made about Abraham Lincoln.  He was so proud and showed us what he made.  The only positive things were he was the 16th President and freed the slaves.  The latter point was immediately followed by the statement "But it is important to remember he and other founding fathers owned slaved too" while accurate is that really what he should be remembered for?  I remember the same fact but when I went to school we were taught he had slaves but treated them well and after emancipation many of them chose to stay and continue working for his family.  All our youth are taught today is how terrible our founding fathers are, how they were slave owners, how they were terrible people who did nothing to help anyone other than white men.  In biology class they are being taught gender is fluid, a man can be a woman and vice versa, and if you want to play with dolls or wear your moms high heels than you are gay.  They push gender reassignment surgery on kids as young as eight.  Math has been changed to common core making it impossible for parents to help their kids with homework.  English is being transformed and no longer holds to the tenants and rules we were taught about proper English.  All of this prevents parents from taking active roles in their kids education.  And last but definitely not least they have banned the reading of a bible in class but teach about Islam and other religions.  All of that should be learned at home by the parents.

Most social movements in their inception are started for a purpose.  Along the way the movements get taken by radicals and transformed to create inequality the other way where equality was needed.  Then at some point the formerly majority class is marginalized and demonized until they themselves become the minority and the group that is unequal.  The movements of inequality will never stop because there will always be people who feel they deserver more and others deserve less.  The benefit of our society is we have the freedom to speak up and attempt to change what we see as unequal.  I am all for equality across the board for valid reasons.  Creating reasons to be offended, creating genders, and removing our history does not create equality, it destroys what allows for equality to thrive!

His Wallet, His Choice

Enough with the introduction posts!  Time to ruffle feathers and start some fun.  So I figure the first major issue I would tackle was one which could not be more controversial, ABORTION!  Ok I hear the groans and see the eye rolls but bear with me and you might be surprised.

So as it stands in America the choice to have an abortion is 100% the decision of the woman who is pregnant.  Most people have one of three opinions, 1. Pro-Abortion 2. Anti-abortion 3. Pro-choice.  The people who are pro-abortion feel as though it should be a constitutional right to have an abortion and us tax payers should pay for it.  The anti-abortionist think abortion is murder and want it banned completely.  The pro-choice crowd want the choice to be there but in most cases does not want it funded by tax dollars.  All sides makes good points and bad points.  The last point of contention is the fact it is 100% the woman's choice.  We hear the slogan repeated often, her body her choice.

Pro-abortionist want it legalized and supported by government funding.  They believe the baby is a human from the moment of birth, not conception. The positives here are that for any reason the mother can choose to end the life of their child.  She also would not have to find a way to pay for it as tax dollars would provide the service.  They also would like businesses to pay for the abortions in the form of mandated health care by the govt.  While that all sounds very loving and compassionate there are problems with this stance as well.  First of all it allows a mother to end the life of her child for any reason at all, even her poor choices leading to the pregnancy.  The next problem is tax dollars paying for the service.  This is a problem because that tax money comes from supporters and non-supporters alike.  Thus making anti-abortion advocates pay for a service they oppose.  The last issue is forcing all businesses to include the service in their employee health care.  Even if the business is against abortion, such as Catholic or Christian run businesses.  As you can see the issue is contains a lot of grey area and leaves a lot of room for debate.

The anti-abortionists want the whole process banned entirely.  To them the baby is an individual life from the moment the egg and sperm meet.  One of the big pushes in recent years is to make abortion a crime that could send the mother to prison.  The good things about this position are 1. It saves innocent lives. 2. Tax dollars are not used to support the service. But here the bad out weigh the good.  The bad in this case is preventing someone from making a choice which impacts them as much at their child.  It also sends a woman to prison for making what is considered the hardest decision in her life.  Taking away our personal freedoms is not something I support at all.  In this scenario there is no room for debate.  They claim abortion is murder and by definition it is, but once again there is a lot of grey area that is not taken into account.

The last group is the pro-choice group.  On first glance this would be the best option.  It allows the freedom of choice, makes payment for service the responsibility of the woman or her employer, and gives a much broader brush for abuse of the service.  This group is divided on two main points 1. payment and 2. when it should be allowed.  The payment we have covered, it is split between govt or private funding.  The second point we haven't really touched on, reason for the abortion.  One side wants it to be her choice for any reason.  The other side wants it allowed only in the cases of rape, incest, or birth defect.  All of these points are very much up for debate and this category is where most Americans fall in.

The last part of this debate comes in the form of the choice itself.  As of now the father of the child has absolutely no right to stop an abortion.  He gets to participate in the fun and if she wants to keep the baby he is required to pay child support for the child.  On the other hand if he wants to keep his child and she doesn't then he has to suffer the loss of a child and deal with the emotional damage done.  The father of the child having zero say in the decision made it where I have my biggest problem.  Every pregnancy is half the mother and half the father.  There is no reason his choice should not be considered or allowed.  Under current law the father is required to pay for the child for 18 years, even if he did not want the pregnancy to continue, that to me is unfair.  But the response to this is "He had a choice before they had sex and choose to not wear protection so he has to step up to his responsibility" this is true 100%.  But the other side is she also had the same choice and chose not to have protection either.

My solution for this is, in my mind, a simple one.  I am ok with the choice being 100% the mothers.  If she chooses to abort, she pays for it.  Her body, her choice in this case.  If she chooses to keep it and the father wants it aborted then he pays no child support.  His wallet, his choice in this case.  This situation makes the decision the mothers completely.  But the choice must be made knowing if the father does not want the child they will receive no support.  The father in this case would be offered emotional counseling for the loss he suffered, at his cost.  I think this solution is fair to all parties involved.  I would personally not choose to ever abort my child but I also think it isn't my place to force a woman to carry a child that is not mine if she does not want it.

Please let me know your thoughts and I look forward to all of our future debates!
