Words are not violence

For the past 24 years of my life I have spent Sept 11 watching documentaries about the terrorist attack on the twin towers in New York and having discussions with people around me on what we were doing that day, our thoughts on the entire event and how much I wish the country could still be united like it was on Sept 12, 2001. That day we were 1 united people fighting against an evil like most of us had never seen in our lifetime.  This year I had not really been thinking about it until this month began.  As I started to recall my feelings that day I began thinking about the division in our country in recent years. This division began under President Obama.  The left praised him as an agent of hope and change, in the end he was an agent of division and further led this country towards socialism with his major "accomplishment", Obamacare.  Healthcare for all, the ability for millions of uninsured Americans to have health coverage like never before. In the end millions more Americans were given coverage that was woefully lacking and failed to deliver on promises he made.  Those young people who elected to not go to the marketplace for coverage were shocked at tax time when they were hit with punitive fines for not having coverage.  This was never explained and hurt a lot of young Americans.  The election of the nation’s first black president raised hopes that race relations in the U.S. would improve, especially among black voters. But by 2016, following a spate of high-profile deaths of black Americans during encounters with police and protests by the Black Lives Matter movement and other groups, many Americans – especially blacks – described race relations as generally bad. These social movements such as Black Lives Matters spent an entire summer, dubbed the "Summer of Love" by mainstream media, burning businesses to the ground and causing billions in damages to major cities across the US.  We saw an autonomous zone barricaded off in Seattle and a drastic spike in violence.  These were the years the radical left began to control the Democratic party.  At the same time, we saw the rise of President Donald Trump and the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement. 

In 2016 he did the unthinkable and defeated then Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, who was predicted to win the election with almost 95% certainty.  But by this point America was done with the Democrat vision for America and elected Trump and shocked the mainstream media and people all around the world.  Trumps first term was marred by the Democrat lefts continued efforts to impeach him (From the moment he was elected Nacy Pelosi said she was filing article of impeachment) for things he never said or did and things they created, like the Russian interference in the election. That turned out to be collusion between the Democrats and Clinton campaign to try and prevent his election.  

Then came the 2020 Presidential race between Trump and Joe Biden.  This election was largely mail in voting due to lockdowns and restrictions thanks to the Covid-19 outbreak. Joe Biden won the election but there was outcry of foul play and this controversial election came to a head on Jan 6, 2021 when Republican supporters marched onto capital grounds and eventually broke into the capital building.  While only 1 person was killed the Democrats did not hesitate to use the event to further divide the country, claiming the event was worse than 9/11 or the Holocaust.  During the 2020-2022 timeframe Americans became further divided by everything going on in politics.  In the 2024 Presidential election Donald Trump was nearly assassinated at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania.  He went on to win the election by large margins.  He made huge strides in demographics which were historically Democratic such as minority communities, women, and young people.  His platform was sweeping immigration reform, mass deportations and more focus on America first.  One of the major players in the election was an organization called turning point USA which was founded by Charlie Kirk when he was only 19 years old.  This organization focused on mobilizing young people to vote, spreading the conservative values and ideals through open discussion and debate on college campuses and working to bridge gaps between the GOP and those groups. In the end TPUSA and Charlie Kirk were highly effective and launched him to the very top of the political ranks. While Trump is the definitive leader of the MAGA movement Charlie Kirk embraced it values whole cloth. 

So that all led to the main reason for me to write this blog.  On Sept 10, 2025 an assassins bullet tore through Charlie Kirk's neck and ended his life at an event in Utah. I saw the news while I was at work and at first thought it was sad. That night as I reflected on his life and listened to people on all sides calling for an end to political violence, I was left contemplating how we got here. I thought about the BLM riots, burning cities and recent mass shootings, largely by leftist ideologs with mental health disorders.  As I was watching the coverage I was struck by the visuals of groups of young conservatives in groups praying and holding candlelight vigils. I couldn't help but contrast those visuals to those of the riots, burning cities and looting the mainstream media called "Fiery but mostly peaceful." I immediately recognized the difference in philosophies and beliefs between Conservatives and Liberals.  Leftists, Liberals and mainstream media has spent years demonizing President Trump, people like Charlie Kirk and the MAGA movement as Nazis, dictators and enders of our democracy.  This led to two assassination attempts on Donald Trumps life and the assassination of the one conservative trying to have civil discourse about politics in very public forums.  The reality is one side embraces communist and socialist policies, beliefs and tactics, the radical left.  The radical left are terrorists and live up to it at every turn.  They are violent and encouraged by almost all media sources and places of higher education.  I am not saying the violence is only found on the left but there is a higher number of leftists murdering people than people on the right.  

The twin towers were a beacon of freedom to the world as they sat alongside the Statue of Liberty. Islamic Terrorists used the 9/11 attacks as an attempt to hurt America.  On Sept 12 we showed the world we stand united in love for one another and love for country.  We stood against terrorism and demanded retribution for the almost 3,000 people murdered that day. 24 years later the day before we remember that horrible day America saw another terrorist use violence to try and silence American voices.  Charlie Kirk was one-man whose voice changed minds and helped steer American away from the far left's agenda of socialism and the true destruction of our Republic. I spent the last 2 days contemplating my desire to be vocal about the same values he was killed for speaking.  I contemplated being quiet and not speaking out against the people I see actively trying to take America away from us all.  I contemplated the risks involved in being a louder voice in my local community and trying to get in political positions to affect change in my local community.  I am older and could just keep quiet, mourn his death and pray that God will call someone else much younger than me to fight for truth and justice. But God called that man and an evil person took him from the Earth.  So I decided now is the time to not shrink back, not be quiet and stand for what is right.  Stand united with other likeminded Conservatives to save our country from the radial left terrorists. I saw a post the other day that stated, "Everything God condemns the left supports." That hit home.  The left is against families, for killing babies and murdering people who disagree with them, against loving one another as human, and for self before others.  

In a press conference today the Governor of Utah after announcing the killer had been captured stated "Words are not violence, violence is violence." No truer words have been spoken.  Charlie Kirk was for civil discourse, peaceful discussion, faith in God, love for all, and focus on family.  The left killed him for speaking and living his beliefs.  9/11/2001 will live in infamy and changed America forever, 9/10/2025 will do the same.  the last 3 days have been really challenging mentally for me.  His murder shook Americas foundation more than any other since 9/11.  Now is the time to stand against hate, stand for American values, stand for peace and speak our beliefs loud and proud.  I am not backing down and I would ask you all do the same.  Help me stand united against these left-wing extremists who have continually shown their desire to kill whoever stands between them and the takeover of our nation.  Patriots stand up and fight for our country or we will most certainly lose it.

Election season is upon us

 Wow its been six months since my last post and a lot of things have happened in politics and our country.  Lets start on the right side of the spectrum, Trump was indicted in several states and liberal courts on charges which have little to no evidence and I fully expect to be thrown out in the end.  He was also selected as the Republican Party candidate for President!  This will be his third time being the candidate and his momentum is at an all-time high.  We have seen vast numbers of minorities leaving the Democratic party and throwing their support to Trump.  So why would lifelong Democrats change their party affiliation and vote?  The answer is much simpler than it seems, they realized for generations the Democrats have done nothing for their communities and only give a crap about them every election cycle.  These groups have seen greater success under the Trump/Republican policies.  They also have seen the left push further into the fringes on topics like abortion, antisemitism, anti-white racism, socialism, open borders and overthrowing our country as we know it.  The left has begun advocating for segregation in schools, dormitories, offices, and every other part of our lives.  They have focused on victimhood and why that prevents each group from success.  They blame everything on systemic racism and claiming white people are preventing a thriving minority community. They are also ok with jailing political rivals, changing our checks and balances when it comes to the Supreme court, censoring speech they disagree with and most of all they have suggested throwing out the Constitution and starting over.  They are doing all of this in an effort to provide "equity" when in reality it is because the levers of power have shifted more right leaning and they want to remove obstacles to ending America as we know it.

On the left side we have heard them preach that Trump is a "threat to democracy" and "he will be a dictator."  They are against ID's to vote and ensuring only American citizens are voting.  They claim if he is elected there will never be another vote.  The reality is they had a Democratic primary and the voters selected President Biden as their candidate.  After a terrible debate in June the Democratic machine and media turned on him, began saying he was unfit for office and forced him to withdraw as the candidate.  So naturally I think most Americans assumed there would be a shortened primary where candidates could be vetted for voters to select the candidate.  The reality was much more dark, the Democratic machine and donors hand selected VP Harris as the candidate and negated the will of their voters.  That is a threat to democracy and removal of the power of the people.  To be clear VP Harris is just as responsible for the policies put in place as President Biden is.  According to the President, his press secretary and media outlets have consistently stated she was as involved in those choices as he was. Now that she is the candidate she states positions in direct opposition to the policies that have been put in place.  She has stated she was for mass amnesty, open borders, abortion up to birth, govt healthcare and removal of private healthcare, increased taxes, writing off college loans, militarizing govt agencies against political rivals, and increases in CRT and the LGBTQIA agenda in schools and businesses.  Now she states the exact opposite view on all those issues.  She claims to fix all those things on day 1 when she is elected, but she is forgetting the is the Vice President and can make those changes now! But she isn't, so my question is why?  She is avoiding interviews and debates, why?

Of all the elections in my lifetime this one seems to be a pivotal one for the direction of our country.  There is a very clear choice to be made.  On one hand you can select VP Harris and continue down the path we have been on since 2020.  That path leads to the downfall of America and transforms us into a socialist nation and eventually to a third world dictatorship.  On the other hand you can vote for Trump.  This path we have seen before from 2016-2020.  Until Covid destroyed businesses and killed our economy Trumps policies had the lowest unemployment among all demographics, most secure border ever in our history, the Abraham accords saw Muslim countries and Israel agree to trade agreements and peaceful interaction, he did not get us into any wars and began a strategic draw down in Afghanistan, during his term Iran/North Korea/Russia and all our other adversaries did not attack us or any of our allies, he renegotiated trade agreements to our benefit, his refusal to pay the UN until all the other countries paid their share led to a massive increase in countries meeting their obligations, and he was willing to sit with any and all world leaders.  Under Trump we were the freest, most prosperous and safest we have been in several generations.  

For me the choice is not a choice at all.  As I have stated many times in this blog I will always fall on the side of America and making us great!  My next blog will focus on the VP candidates and what they stand for.  In 2024 I will be voting for Trump and doing my best to expose the left, VP Harris, Gov Walz and all the other leftists for their policies and lies.

Debates, Elections and Indictments oh my

Why as this year flies by do I feel more and more like Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz?  Swept away to some far away land where nothing makes sense.  Since my last blog in November the US has been completely turned on its head.  The leftists and mainstream media has done everything in their power to destroy Donald Trump and boost the flailing administration in the White House.  Not until February did they start to turn on each other and begin to destroy themselves.  Donald Trump was indicted in a Georgia court by a DA who got her job with the promise of putting him in jail, same thing in New York.  We saw Trump get a civil judgement of $355 Million for fraud levied against him by a judge who is a major Democratic donor.  The issue here is there was no complaining party aka a bank or anyone he defrauded.  The loans he was given were paid back in full with interest.  Back to Georgia, turns out the Georgia DA, Fani Willis, was paying the lead prosecutor more than any other prosecutor ever to lead the trial against Trump.  This prosecutor and her had a sexual relationship before and during the indictment.  He used taxpayer monies he was paid to take her on lavish vacations and getaways.  During the hearing to find out if she committed any crimes doing that he said she paid him back in "cash" with no receipts to prove it.  She angrily took the stand and acted like a complete jackass.  She was talking over the attorney asking her questions, disrespecting the judge and in my opinion mocking the judicial system.  She didn't deny any allegations she was facing and admitted to going on the vacations or using cash to pay him back with no evidence.  How is it that these DA's and lawyers think they are above the law.  It used to be something they did in the shadows and kept it hidden no matter what.  Today these people have no fear of being placed in jail and make no effort to hide or deny what they are doing.  It is disgusting.

Speaking of Trump, he has erased all but one of his primary challengers.  The last standing person is former UN ambassador Nikki Haley.  In reality she stands zero chance of winning and I think she is holding on in hopes Trump gets convicted and she can take his place.  On the other side of the election we have President Joe Biden.  IN the past 3 years his administration has done everything in their power to destroy America while claiming "Maga" republicans are trying to destroy democracy.  In the past 3 years we have seen a steady flood of illegal immigrants through the southern border.  Southern Governors decided to bus many of them to the Democratic run "sanctuary cities" and doing that put the problem directly back in the lap of state and city Democrats.  The immediate response from these politicians was to beg the feds for money and claim the Republican Governors were trying to destroy their cities.  The good news is most people in those cities know the truth, the policies of these politicians is the issue, not the actions of the border states.  We have seen minority citizens in Detroit, Chicago, New York and other Democratically run cities going to council meeting and voicing their displeasure with those policies.  We have seen a huge portion of the minority communities leaving the Democratic party and choosing to be Independent or Republican. We have seen these horribly run cities losing citizens hand over fists as they choose to move into Republican run cities.  States like California, New York and Colorado have lost huge parts of their population to more tax friendly, police supporting, and more free states like Florida and Texas.  It isn't farfetched to say this is the most important election of my lifetime.  This election is the one which highlights the difference in politics more than any other I have witnessed.  On one side you have anti-police, pro-illegal immigration, anti-gun, pro-abortion, pro-transing kids and anti-American values.  The other has law and order, anti-abortion aka murder of babies, Christian values, pro-LEGAL immigration, pro-gun, anti-trans, and very pro-American.  On the left you can kill your kid up to and including after birth or force your kids to be sterilized and castrated after they are born and alive for years.  The left is fine with drug addicts and murderers running the streets with no cash bail, heck they even canonize them into idols and saints.  The right wants to protect children before and after birth.  They are against transition drugs and chemical castration of kids.  They are for locking criminals up and throwing away the key.  They are against letting illegals into our cities for years unchecked with the hope they return for their "asylum hearing."

I heard Biden say today that his cancelling student loans will help hard working Americans achieve the dream of being middle class.  What exactly does that even mean, we strive for mediocrity?  We were once a country of people who worked hard to be the absolute best at what we did.  We worked hard to be a beacon of Freedom.  For him to imply that the middle class is as high as Americans can go is ridiculous.  It is a prime example of the elites telling us the middle class is perfect, thus keeping their elitism.  We have also seen the elites vs the normal person in the trials we are witnessing. Our two-tiered system of justice has never been more obvious.  On one side Biden and his family are getting a pass for their corrupt actions.  Joe Biden took classified documents when he was a Senator and VP (which he was not allowed to do), didn't disclose them until he was caught and the DA saying they wouldn't charge because “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.....Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.” And while this was being presented the media and left was telling us Biden was mentally on his game and sharper than ever. At the same time Trump is being indicted in 4 separate case, one of which is about classified document he kept as President (which he is allowed to do). Trump may be a Billionaire but he represents us, the American people. Biden represents the elites and those who are above the law. Everything being done to Trump reminds me of third world countries where political rivals are jailed and even murdered by the ruling elites and it scare the hell out of me.

This year and this election I for one will stand with the side that protects kids, protects our cities, protects our borders, and works to ensure our nation stands for generations to come.  It isn't Democrats vs Republicans.  It isn't left vs right.  It isn't Biden vs Trump even.  It is Americans vs Socialist intent on destroying what we have built.  Where do you stand?

Viewing the world through a prism

 As we see the world devolve into chaos and violence, I have begun to observe people, their behaviors, and how most people view society and to be honest it has been eye opening.  Every day in our media we see groups from far-left movements like Black Lives Matter to far-right movements like the Patriot front highlighted or mocked.  The media wants us to believe that Americans support one or the other when the truth is most Americans fall somewhere in the middle-left or middle-right.  The media tells us that if you want women to have a choice on abortion you must be 100% pro-abortion and if you don't then you are against a womans right to proper healthcare.  They tell us if you are not actively denouncing racism and fighting against it then you support racist ideas.  If you are against illegal immigration, then you hate all immigrants.  If you don't support the Government providing someone their entire existence then you hate poor people.  See how they make everything black and white?

I had an interesting discussion with a liberal co-worker yesterday.  He stated that people on "one side" of the discussion are rich assholes who have zero empathy for poor people because they "never lived it."  His idea was that right leaning conservatives were against welfare and helping people who may be struggling.  He couldn't see that most conservative indeed want to help people to an extent, we just don't want to support them for life. His view was that because they were rich, they must have been born into it.  He stated that in climbing the mountain of life some people start at the basecamp and others start halfway up the mountain.  His point being the "silver spoon" people are given a leg up and thus have a greater ability to succeed vs someone born into a working-class home.  While I agree the working-class person has to work harder to achieve the same result, I disagree that is cannot be done.  America is unique in that citizens can transverse classes.  They can with effort and work elevate themselves from lower-class to middle or upper-class.  At the same time someone born into the upper-class can fall into the middle or lower-class by making little or no effort.  That is what makes us an amazing place to live.

These kinds of ideology are the reason for the title of this blog.  Each of us uniquely views the world through our chosen prism.  We select how we view events and situations based on a myriad of factors ranging from family structure, friends groups, media ingested, music we listen to, and community we live in.  I was married to an African American woman and one of our first dates we went to a restaurant. While we were there an older white woman walked by our table several times.  The third time she walked by my date got visibly angry and said "If she glares at us again, I am going to say something."  I hadn't noticed the woman looking in our direction but she did.  When I asked what was going on I was told the woman was walking by glaring because she obviously didn't think a black woman and a white man should be on a date.  I told her to let it go, it was no big deal.  My date said she couldn't let it go because "racism should be pointed out so people can evolve." My position was simple, the older lady, if she indeed had an issue with us, was raised in a different era and most likely was beyond the age of "evolving" into modern society.  If she indeed looked at black people as violent or angry I saw no value in my date getting angry and getting in her face because that would simply reenforce the old woman's views.  That situation highlights what I mean when I say we view the world through our prism.

We see the same thing in news stories highlighting violence against minorities.  We see story after story about "racist cops" hunting down and killing black people.  At the same time mods of black people beating white people is shown as a fight against racism, it makes no sense.  Violence against anyone of a different ethnicity based on their race is wrong.  Police brutality against anyone based on race is wrong.  Violence against police because of their profession is wrong.  So the question becomes, how do we stop seeing the world through a specific lens?  To me the answer is we need to communicate with people of all backgrounds, stand on good morals and values, respect all human life (in and out of the womb), encourage marriage and families, renew or faith in a higher power, stop being selfish, stand up for what is morally right and just, and most of all respect everyone!  In elementary school I was taught the Golden Rule, that is how I live my life.  I may disagree with views or beliefs someone may have but it doesn't mean I hate them.  I don't have to support your lifestyle, it doesn't mean I hate you. We need to stop thinking everyone who disagrees with us hates us or wants the worse for us.

In a world where hate and violence are the norm we need to strive to do and act as we want to be treated.  Love everyone and do what you can to make ripples in your pond.  Small acts of kindness makes a difference.  Make an effort to know why you view the world the way you do and work to see it from all angles.  I pray we change the path we are on as I love my country and want us to continue to thrive.

You ever dance with the Devil by the pale moonlight?

 When I was growing up I watched a lot of TV.  Everything from sitcoms to movies and almost all of them had a family unit consisting of a mom, dad and several kids.  From the Cosby family to the Bundy's that was the dynamic.  I started wondering why that was and all I could imagine was the morals of our country were vastly different than today.  Today we see every single movie or tv show pushing left wing ideology.  Every single one needs to have the most ethnically diverse, most powerful women, most stupid dumb ass white guys, and of course a rep from every single letter of the alphabet people (LGBTQIA+). All of them must meet the criteria except minority focused shows, those of course must highlight the race of the people as superior to everyone else in every way.

The other thing I have been focused on this week is relationships.  Since my last divorce I jumped back into the dating world.  I made the decision to set solid boundaries, ask and give clear requests and expectations, and most of all be 100% honest from the start.  What I found was a lot of my so called first dates were taken back by that and didn't know how to deal with it.  I look at it from this perspective, why lie or be deceitful?  If the relationship turns into a long-term relationship or marriage the truth will come out eventually so why start off on dishonesty.  The other thing I found was I was typically the only person on the date doing any of those things.  This experience made me once again turn to media/movies/tv shows and see what is being shoved down our throats.  For men it is unrealistic expectations from porn, for women it is unrealistic expectations from movies and tv.  Men expect a woman to be a freak all the time.  Give into his carnal desires and be what he views on the hub.  Women want a man who is strong, rugged, muscular, and emotionally available.  Both of these things men and women will never find in real life!  Yes there are people who have some of the characteristics we seek but not all of them.  If people could be honest from the first meeting we could change the expectations.  If we could focus on building with someone with openness and honesty we would start to see a shift away from the isolated exitance we are living in.

Our children need examples of the nuclear family and good relationships!  In order to change the downward trend of more deaths per year than births.  The rise in pro-abortion, anti-religion, anti-nuclear family, pro-lgbtqia, pro-trans agenda has decimated the foundation of America.  Our kids are being indoctrinated into this androgynous cult and are told the world should revolve around them.  A full-time job is not something you should be doing because its "unfair" or a greedy employer.  They should be making enough working part time to support themselves and a family, which is ridiculous!

I think we need to get back to a moralistic and hard-working society which works hard to be the best in the world while also not finding victimhood in everything.  Stop finding the latest and greatest "label" to be an individual.  Grow the fuck up! Until we do these things we will continue to watch America and our freedoms collapse.

End of days

 Wow 19 days after my last blog and I have witnessed things I never expected.  In the 1930's there was a man in Germany who began a campaign of antisemitism against the Jewish people in Germany.  After millions of deaths and a world war he ended his own life in a bunker.  When I was in school, we learned of this man and what happened during that time in history.  I never in a million years thought in my lifetime we would see the rise of antisemitism once again.  On October 7 Hamas, a terrorist organization, launched an attack on Israel which killed over 1400 innocent Jewish Israelites.  As Israel is preparing to launch a retaliation strike against the Gaza strip protests began popping up worldwide against it.  There were also protests on college campuses all across America and in Washington DC, including some of our elected congress people leading pro-Palestinian protestors into several buildings, which is illegal by law in DC.  In the videos I saw there were tons of students waving the Palestine flag and chanting things like "Gas the Jews" and "Jewish genocide."  There were similar chants by protestors in Times Square in New York!  These chants are scenes I watched when I was in school, and I was shocked.  After terrorists killed thousands of innocent women and children and took hundreds more hostage the leftists/Marxist and media began demanding a ceasefire from Israel and condemning any retaliation at all.  The idea our media would do this does not surprise me but the amount of antisemitism I am seeing is scary.

I want to be perfectly clear in my stance, I support Israel and pray they are able to defeat Hamas and all other terrorist who threaten and kill their people.  I defend its right to defend themselves.  I will NEVER defend the actions Hamas and Hezbollah have taken against innocent civilians.  After 9/11 America was united against these types of people and their actions.  Now 22 years later college kids and congress people are defending their actions and chanting for the destruction of Jews, it's unbelievable.  It is this type of indoctrination that we saw in Germany.  Hitler made the German people turn on their neighbors and friends by demeaning the Jewish people and making them seem less than human.  Anyone who could ever consider someone to be less than human deserves whatever comes their way.  

There is an old saying that those who do not learn history are destined to repeat it applies here.  The liberal left has ran our education system for decades and they have indoctrinated multiple generations to hate America, our freedoms and the rights we have as citizens.  We now see them turning youth against our allies and teaching them that our enemies are the "oppressed" people and we are the "oppressors." This short sided view of oppressed vs oppressors is the way every single leftist sees the world.  In race relations, minorities are oppressed by the white people.  In climate and finance the poor are oppressed by the rich.  In education minority students are oppressed by systemic racism. In terrorism the terrorists are being oppressed by the victims of terrorism. So why would they see the world this way?  The answer is not as complex as you might think, the people they claim are oppressed they see as less of a threat to their power than the people they say are oppressing them.  Once again it all comes back to power and money.  Once the so-called "oppressors" are removed by violence then the powerful can oppress the people they claim were oppressed the entire time! Throughout history we have seen this same scenario play out and every single time the poor, destitute and oppressed always stay that way.  The "promises" they are given are easily removed because they voluntarily give up their rights and freedoms in effort to gain the freedom they are told they don't have.  In the end they have no rights and even less freedom.

I understand that if Israel flattens the Gaza Strip there will be innocent people that are killed, that is war unfortunately.  But free countries and states need to stand together against terrorist and their ideology or we will lose all of our freedoms and rights and never get them back.  America is the last beacon of Freedom and Democracy around the world and we need to stand up and defend it to the death or this is indeed the end of days.

Living in the void

 For the past 8 months my entire life has been one of living in the void.  What exactly do I mean by this?  I moved back home to Denver, CO back in March.  My company was supposed to have me working a program located in Colorado Springs, CO starting in June but between March and June I would work in Aurora, CO.  So, I temporarily began living back home with my parents.  Long story short, 8 months later I am still living in my parents' basement, I am still not working in Colorado Springs and most of all I am not assigned to any program but instead am working as a fill-in or as needed system administrator for the company.  Many other admins have come in since I got here and they are all working daily in their program spaces, this includes one who was also assigned to the Springs.  He was moved to a position in Aurora.  "Why are you telling me this?" you are asking, well its simple, my life is mimicking what we are seeing in our country and government in recent years.

Currently in the USA we see generations of lost people, filling the void day in and day out.  These people go through their day without ever striving for the self-fulfillment that comes from accomplishment.  We see them using their coworkers and complaining about having to actually do their job instead of enjoying social time with their friends.  We see them jump from job to job based solely on how much money someone will pay them.  They have no pride in their work and could care less if the company remains in business.  They get their paper from the college, jump to the highest bidder with no loyalty and refuse to better themselves for any reason other than money.  Then they go to the bars or clubs in hopes of finding the next person to wake up next to in bed regretting the choices the night before.  They don't look for relationships because much like job loyalty a relationship would require selflessness and giving of oneself for another and they were not raised with these values.  The non-committal nature has been ingrained in their minds from an early age. Values such as hard work, loyalty, commitment, value, respect, and others are foreign concepts. In the end they don't find their work or personal life fulfilling at all.

Our government is another example of people who live in the void.  In this case the void is Washington DC and politics.  Our "leaders" visit their home states for short periods of time to shake hands and kissing babies while lying to their voters faces knowing all along their loyalty is with lobbyists and other politicians.  The world they live in is full of lies, deceit, backstabbing, and most of all lots and lots of money.  Recently we have seen multiple politicians exposed for bribery and violating laws that any "normal" person would be put in jail for. Our very own "elected" President has been exposed for taking bribes from our enemies. His kid exposed for multiple drug felonies, gun violations and tax evasion and yet still not locked up.  Another Democratic congressman was exposed for taking bribes and was found with money, gold bars, and other "benefits" in his house, yet he walks free too.  Mainly the media is focused on Donald Trump and his "trial" as they feel his business dealings were felonious and he attempted to cite and insurrection, neither of which happened.  But this is the void they live in.  Career politicians are excused for shitty behavior while the everyday man is locked up for minor offenses.  In spite of his money Trump is the everyday man.  He should be looked at by every American as the example of how the corrupt system will stop at nothing to silence you if you don't "play the game" and go along with the status quo.  This should scare every single American.  If both sides of the political coin can do anything and everything to lock up a billionaire for doing nothing worthy of criminal charged imagine what they can do to you.

It has become clear to me in recent months the only way out of the void is to turn towards faith.  Whatever your faith turn towards your God and follow the examples outlined in scripture.  Step outside of yourself and do for others before yourself.  Take pride in your work and establish a great work ethic.  Do what is right no matter how difficult it might be.  Don't Netflix and chill, take time for courtship and find your lifelong love.  Have babies and raise a family. The only way evil can triumph is for good men do nothing.  Find a way out of the void you are living in and move someone else to do the same.  Be the pebble which makes ripples in your small pond and in time all the ripples will have a major impact!  

I for one am working to find my way out of the void I have been in.  Trying to find a way to have a positive impact on my surroundings.  I encourage you to do the same.

 The past few weeks America has fallen further from sanity and deeper into the chaos the left loves.  Jason Aldean released a song back in May called "Try That In A Small Town" and it was played on country radio County Music TV and all other platforms.  There was no issue whatsoever.  As with many country artists Jason Aldean is patriotic and hates what is happening in America.  Last week the leftists and cry babies "discovered" this song on Youtube and lost their minds. They immediately called it a lynching anthem, racist, right wing extremism and any other negative connotation they could label it.  In response CMT removed the video from their station.  So what was so offensive? In it Aldean "features clips of Black Lives Matter protests interspersed with footage of crimes--including an apparent convenience store robbery, a carjacking and depictions of people setting American flags on fire." The other major talking point was that it was filmed in front of the Maury County Courthouse in Columbia, TN.  In 1927 that was the site where an 18 year old black man was lynched after he was accused of assaulting a white girl.  Along with the images the left referenced the lyrics in the song.  The most quoted are:

Cuss out a cop, spit in his face

Stomp on the flag and light it up

Yeah, ya think you're tough

Well, try that in a small town

See how far you make it down the road

Around here, we take care of our own.

And:

To me these lyrics are simple, well delivered and speak to the heart of small town America. As I have travelled and moved throughout the country I have personally seen small town life and know for a fact violent crime, car theft, riots, etc just don't happen.  And the reason is because these small towns have a sense of community and culture. They have a strong sense of faith and hold strong Christian values. And if someone in the town attempts to hurt one of their townspeople they are immediately stopped. In small towns people care about one another. So the left demanded CMT remove the video and strongarmed them into doing just that. 

So what "consequences" did Aldean suffer? That single became the #2 on the billboard charts and his Youtube was flooded with views and supporters. He has gained more fans and nothing has been more beneficial for this single.  The left seemed shocked.  But why would they be, the videos and songs they promote glorify violence, sexual assault, violent crime, and all kinds of other hideous things.  One of the most popular songs in Rap is by an artist called King Von called "robberies." This was a posthumous release as he has passed away. The left says it tells a riveting story and is powered by a chilling instrumental. In the song he talks about jacking (robbing) people so he can pay his rent. The lyrics are:

Oh man what amazing lyrics!  I mean it is obvious this guy is speaking for the truth in music.  If you believe that you have not been reading my blog.  I am a huge Hip Hop head and love Rap music of all kinds.  This is just crap.  It glorifies robbing and threating to kill someone.  So why is this acceptable by the left and Aldean's song is not?  The answer is much simpler than you might think, it fits their narrative.  They want people to become desensitized to violence.  They want Patriotism and the American way of life to disappear.  This is the ultimate goal.  So what can we do about it?  Support businesses who hold American values, destroy businesses who don't (looking at you Bud Light), and most of all stand for what is moral and Godly.  Our country is not too far gone and more and more Americans are standing up and saying enough.  Lets support our Military and law enforcement.  LEt support local business and our local communities.  If we stand as Americans nothing can stop us and we can maintain our status as the lone super power in the world!  Play ball or get cancelled?  I say CANCEL THIS!

What we've got here is failure to communicate

 

The title of this blog come directly from the song by Guns and Roses called Civil War, hence the graphic here.  In a lot of my blogs I have talked about the events happening in America the last three years that are leading us directly to the next civil war.  Lines are being drawn and citizens are being divided on every single thing.  In this blog I wanted to look at what the "elite" are doing to maintain their power and grip on everyday Americans.

Lets take this all the way back to 2020.  In 2020 we saw the rise of Covid-19.  The government made the decision to lock everyone down who they didn't deem "essential." So who did they choose to remain open, big corporations, chain restaurants, weed shops, and liquor stores.  The local small to mid-size businesses were forced to shudder their doors and stop paying employees.  I thought for many months why they did that.  The conclusion I came to was the ones left open either donated to the political campaigns, were friends of the "elites" or it was a business which would aid in the destruction of people. Companies like Wal-Mart and Amazon made billions of dollars during the 2-year lock down period.  More and more Americans developed mental health issues and addiction due to the access of the "essential" businesses.  Suicide and domestic violence rates skyrocketed. This led to the idea there was a bigger plan in place.  During this same time, we saw a massive movement known as BLM.  This movement started as protests against police violence against black people.  What happened very quickly was these "peaceful" protests devolved into violent arson and attacks against white people and police officers.  We saw entire blocks of Seattle taken over by warlords and had zero ability to provide medical care or safety for citizens in that area.  That failed quickly as expected and eventually it was restored to sanity.  The racial division was radicalized by mainstream media and glorified by the same politician who pushed the lockdowns.  That went on for months and what was the end result?  Police officers being attacked and killed, minority businesses being burned to the ground, and minority communities left in ruins.  Were the elites hurt by this? No.  The people most affected were the ones those same elites encouraged to commit the violence.  This was their way of dividing us further.

After the racial divide was present the next move was to pit the vaxxed and un-vaxxed against one another.  We saw people on both sides being attacked verbally and physically for choosing to wear a mask or not.  We heard calls from leaders and media that people needed to report their neighbors if they didn't follow mask mandates to local authorities for "reeducation." We have seen the same kinds of "reeducation" happening in China with the Uyghur population and also in Nazi Germany.  The tools used by dictators and communists alike is reeducation of the masses or death.  Is that really what we want to become?  This divide crossed into Patriots vs the left.  Patriotic Americans were labeled racist and white nationalist.  It became a case of us vs them.  In the end we saw even further division of Americans.  The difference with this attempt was most Patriotic Americans are gun advocates and will not let the removal of liberties stand.  So how could the "elites" get what they want in removal of guns from these Americans? The solution is something we see to this day, glorify mass shootings and use the weapons the a-holes use against the people to push for gun control.  At first the method was to claim any AR-15 was an assault weapon or weapon of war.  The pushback was educating people of the weapons and how it was a semi-automatic meaning one trigger pull, one shot. Not the fully automatic death machines the media throws on the news nightly.

And finally, this week we saw the House of Representatives hold a committee hearing to address Hunter Biden taking money from foreign governments.  In this hearing the Republicans were asking FBI whistleblower pertinent questions about the investigation. When it was the Democrats turn each and every one of them called out Donald Trump, injustice against minorities and other far left talking points. None of what they talked about had anything to do with the matter being discussed.  Then the next hearing was about censorship in social media.  The first witness was Democratic Senator Robert Kennedy Jr.  He was called to the hearing to discuss his own social media accounts being throttled and censored. As he began to speak the representative from the Virgin Islands immediately spoke over him and refused to let him talk.  She continued to the point of the leader of the committee telling her to stop censoring his speech and let him talk!  After the hearing all of the Democrats said the same lines to media question.  They said things like "He was free to say whatever he wanted, wherever he wanted, except in this chamber" or "We were not going to let him spread misinformation" and "He was spreading lies in committee." So what do these two things have in common?  They both involve high level government officials being involved in FBI matters and censorship of opposing views.  We have also seen this with former President Trump.  The left is still committed to putting him in jail, silencing his voice and preventing him from ever winning the Presidency again.  

To conclude this blog I want to compare what I have discussed with things like Nazi Germany, Pol pot, and other communist/socialist leaders.  In each and every case the format was the same.  Divide the populace into an us vs them scenario, remove the citizens ability to defend themselves, have citizen turn in their family and friend for "disobedience" and finally remove the rights of free people to vote for their leaders. This is when a civil and free society fails to exist.  We have seen the pattern repeat throughout history and it never ends well.  I fully believe it is the left and liberals plan to make America another third world dictatorship and drive us into poverty.  That way they will be the only ones with wealth and food.  When this begins to happen, I also fully believe that the Patriotic Americans will once again rise up and say no to the tyrannical takeover of the greatest country ever in the history of the world!

The Supreme Courts Recent Decisions

 In the past few weeks the Supreme court has been on a roll making decisions on cases brought before them.  Most notably were their ruling on affirmative action, student loans and "gay rights."  So lets take them each individually!

The case involving "gay rights" was about a web designer refusing to create a website for a gay couples wedding.  The case was simple, the designer's 1st amendment right to refuse service vs "discrimination" based on sexual orientation.  So much like the baker from years ago who refused to make a cake for a gay wedding this lawsuit is utterly ridiculous.  The couple asked for a website to be created and the designer refused, enough said.  The designer has a constitutionally protected right under the 1st amendment to refuse service for any reason.  This is in the Constitution and as this court has shown they fall on the black and white of the document. There are zero "rights" heterosexual couples have that gay couples do not.  That same designer could refuse to make a website for a straight couple and I would be fine with that also.  In the end the couple could have simply gone to another website creator and gotten their site made.  They also could have put out a negative review, told family and friends to not patronize the business, etc.  This lawsuit was frivolous, and the 6-3 ruling was the right ruling.

 The next case was about cancelling student loan debt.  In another 6-3 decision they ruled the Biden administration did not have the legal standing to cancel the student loans.  This is another one they got 100% correct.  The House of Representatives is the only government body with the "power of the purse", meaning they are the only ones who can authorize matters of money and finance in the government.  My personal view is that the loans were taking out by an individual to benefit them.  Much like car loans, mortgages, etc. these people voluntarily signed up for and took the loans while agreeing to pay them back.  It is simple contract law.  I did not take the loans and my taxes should not go to pay them back.  Do I think the colleges charge way too much for degrees that people cannot find work in?  Absolutely, but once again these students chose the degree and agreed to pay the loans back.  If they chose not to get a degree in a field which had a good employment rate that is no one's fault but their own.

And finally in a 6-3 ruling the court rules that race-conscious admissions policies at Harvard and UNC were unlawful.  I agree entirely.  A college admission should be dependent on a lot of factors but one that should not be on the list is your race or skin color.  People should meet the academic standard for admissions, period.  Rather than put policies in place at the collegiate level that grant privilege to students of color we should look at improving their education at lower levels and improve them from the early years of education.  But as we have seen even the lower level schools are more concerned with pushing far left ideas of inequity and not teaching what students need to know to pass the SAT or college entrance exams.  They are teaching students in these "underprivileged" communities that without a handout they are too stupid to make it.  I heard a pundit the other day say "Without race-based policies for admission black students would not qualify for entrance into these Universities." So to clarify what he was saying was "Without getting accepted because you are black, you are too dumb to get in on your merits." That to me sounds racist as hell!  Much like when our President said "Poor kids are just as bright as white kids" the left and Democrats continue to talk down to black Americans.  They continue to convince them they are stupid and start life with systemic blocks that white kids do not, that is 100% false.  No matter what someone's race there are barriers they must overcome to succeed.  Rep Tim Scott was on the view and was discussing this issue.  His position is that black kids should look at successful black Americans as the standard not the exception to the rule, he is right.  Telling any child they will never get ahead on hard work and effort does nothing but create entitled assholes who think they need to be "given" a good life, not earn it.  Affirmative action has done more harm than good for African Americans.  

So what have we learned from the court in recent years?  For me it is the fact they are majority constitutionalist.  Meaning they go by the letter of the document and do not interpret the "grey area" in its words.  When Trump nominated the three justices, we were all told they would tow the Trump line and our country would be worse off.  The truth is they rule via the words of the document, not their interpretation and in most cases did not fall in line with Trump or his views.  They have clarified there is no Constitutional right to abortion, gay issues, student loan relief or more restrictive gun laws.  All of these rely on the direct words of the Constitution and that is the way it should be! Juneteenth and Reparations

 Yesterday was Juneteenth.  For those who may not know what exactly that is here is a little history for you.  After Lincoln freed the slaves in the United States it took many months for the world to get to all states and cities. On June 19, 1865 Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, TX.  The Army announced that the 250,000 enslaved black people in the state had been freed by executive decree.  This day became known as Juneteenth by the newly freed people in Texas. In 2021 Congress passed a bill and it was signed into law making Juneteenth a national holiday. 

While I feel this is an event that should be recognized and maybe even had been made a national holiday, this year I found myself irritated by all the virtue signaling I saw and heard.  In recent history June has become a month where we are flooded with LGBTQIA+ propaganda and the past two years one of the days become a huge flood of praising the black community for something that was done for them not by them. For me it would be similar to praising your white friends on the 4th of July for our freedoms.  But on the 4th we don't do that, we celebrate as Americans. I have never once seen a social media post saying "Happy 4th of July to my white friends!" but yesterday I saw multiple posts from people saying "Happy Juneteenth to all my black friends!" It is ridiculous that a day people gained freedom has been turned into another virtue signaling opportunity.  Much like the BLM or Ukraine support profile pictures this day is becoming another opportunity to signal your virtue and "support." But support of what exactly?  I think the day should be celebrated the same way we celebrate the 4th of July, Freedom is something to be praised, not individual racial groups.

The other big news in the black community is reparations.  California has a group called the "California Reparations Task Force", a group who spent time and government money to figure out how much money was appropriate as reparations in a state which never had actual slavery. So who do they feel is eligible?  Black Californians who are decedents of slaves (But how do they prove it?).  They recommend $1,200,000 per black Californian, yes 1.2 million dollars per black person in California or $800 billion dollars total, more than California's GDP.  How will they pay this?  Taxes on everything!  So why are Asians, Irish and other races who were slaves left out?  That answer is simple, this movement is another virtue signal and attempt to secure a voter base.  

This push came at a time where the Democratic party has seen black people leaving their party in droves.  The black community is starting to see that the Democrats and left do not have their best interest in mind.  From my experience the conservative movement is more aligned with the larger black community, not the extremists.  Black families believe in faith, traditional male/female roles, raising kids with good moral and values, anti-abortion, anti-lgbtqia and working hard to succeed in America.  As with most people in America, not the far left or right, most of us just want to live our lives and be successful.  But what we see in the media is the extremes and that makes those in the middle feel like they are alone in their beliefs.  Most Americans hold the same beliefs and our media and government push division because it sells or gets them elected.  We are all American.  Most Americans do not define themselves by race first.  

We have seen in the past few months a huge pushback against the LGBTQIA+ agenda, racial division and the trans movements.  These fringe movements are being rejected whole cloth.  People are starting to fight back and I love it!  We need to stand for equality, unity and what is morally correct or we will find our country lost to these fringe groups.  As I have stated more than once we are a good people overall.  All of us want freedom and success.  All of us want our kids safe.  All of us want to be able to afford to live and have the things we want.  So take this day to do something nice for someone because you can!  We need to unite and stay united in order for our country to continue to be the beacon of freedom that brings people from around the world to our doors wanting the American Dream.  We can do this and we can stay free!

USA, Third World Country

 The United States is a unique experiment in politics.  Our founding fathers created a melting pot for all nations and peoples to have freedom.  Through the years and election cycles we have seen mudslinging, attack ads and everything imaginable to discredit the other political opponents.  The one thing we have never seen until recently is the attempt to arrest, jail and forcefully stop a political opponent.  This is something that happens in 3rd world dictatorships and Marxist countries.  This is the tool of "leaders" who are afraid of losing power.  Ever since the second Donald Trump was elected as President the Democratic party, media and political elites have done everything in their power to impeach, arrest, harass and just make his life hell.  Even through it all he is still standing and trying to win office again!

This past weekend these same Democratic politicians and DA's indicted Trump for what they call threats to national security.  The primary focus is his retention and storage of "classified" documents (103 to be exact).  They showed pictures of stacks of document boxes they claimed contained these documents.  I think any normal person who has ever seen these boxes knows each one can contain hundreds of documents, so why have more than just one box for 103 pages?  The answer is simple, to create an image that Trump had more than the 103 pages they found.  In reality he had every right under the Presidential Records Act to not only declassify any documents he wanted but to also remove and take with him when he left those documents.  He was required to store them in a place secured to FBI standards, and they had validated he had done just that.  The news is already convicting him of crimes he did not commit.  But you know who did?  Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.  There is documented evidence Hillary had an unclassified server containing thousands of classified documents in her home.  Before she could be charged, she destroyed, with bleach, the server, cell phones and other items which contained the documents.  Joe Biden took documents out of secured areas when he was a Senator and also the Vice President.  These documents were found at every single one of his properties and in most cases not in a location secured at all.  The difference in these two cases is that the people involved were Democrats and also not allowed to remove or declassify documents!  These two cases were actual crimes!

So why is Trump now faces criminal charges?  Simple, he is a threat to the political establishment.  Their power is under direct threat.  They must stop him at any cost.  In order for them to maintain their grip on money and power he must be removed from the equation.  This is where 3rd world countries can be looked at as examples of what their plan is.  If anyone is a threat, they will be removed from the playing field at any cost.  He is being made the example for anyone else who dares to go outside the lines and try to make actual change in our system.  We as Americans cannot sit idly by and watch this happen.  We need to stand up and hold these vicious politicians accountable.  We the people must remove them from office and ensure they never sit in those seats again.  If we do not this will be the beginning of the end of our Republic and country.  I firmly believe in my lifetime good men and women will have to stand side by side and fight once again for our freedoms.  This will be the fight of our life and we must be ready.  I am not calling for violent revolution as I do believe we can legally stop this before it gets to that point, but we must be ready to stand firm to any extent or everything we hold close to our hearts will be ripped from our hands.  I for one will not stand by and watch our country fall as every other empire in the world has.  Thie country is worth fighting for and we need to be ready.

How leftist policies destroy cities

 I was reading an article this morning about a Gen Z activist in San Francisco who is documenting the downfall of the city due to the massive drug use, specifically Fentanyl.  He documents overdoses, homelessness, crime, etc. and has seem a massive increase in all as people have fled the city in huge numbers.  So what has contributed to this increase?  The answer, Liberal or leftist policies.  Legalizing drugs, allowing needle exchanges, increasing social welfare programs, encouraging people not to work by paying more in welfare than min wage and not locking up criminals.  Since I have moved back to Denver, which was once a much more conservative city, I have seen almost daily stories on the news about drug use, crime, violence, deaths in the black community, etc. Just yesterday a story about a 14-year-old black boy who committed armed robbery of a vape shop and was shot and killed by police in the alley behind it because he had a gun and attempted to aim at the cops.  a black activist was on the news saying "Police don't need to stop, question, arrest them, or anything.  They just need to be there."  Essentially saying black people in the city have the right to do anything without consequence.  That is ridiculous!  The family of the boy is suing the police and demanding millions.  Rather than look at what they may have done wrong that allowed their 14-year-old son to think armed robbery was acceptable.  

The point of this blog being these policies which decriminalize crime, encourage not working, promote drug use, etc. are causing nothing but harm.  We are a country of law and order.  Without it we will devolve into chaos and lose the freedoms we know and love.  We have seen police arrested and their lives ruined for doing the job to protect us!  Now I do understand there are some police officers abusing authority and being bias in enforcement of the law, this should be addressed and corrected.  But a vast majority of police officers are good people working hard to protect us.  At the same time criminals are made to be martyrs for minority communities.  Look at George Floyd, his situation was one of a lifetime of crime, violence and drug use.  In his case the black community created statues, said he was a pillar of his community and say he was murdered by the cops.  Neither of those two things is true.  I will go as far as to say if that community stopped making these criminals heroes, stopped them from infecting their communities and taught their children to look up to successful black people like Senator Tim Scott, Justice Thomas, or Ben Carson as heroes they might see it is possible to be successful despite your starting place in our country.  These people and many others should be placed in the media and applauded for their success.  The other issue is single parent homes.  Regardless of the color of someone's skin this is the main reason for success and failure in life.  When a home had a mother and a father the children as a majority are more successful.  

So what is the solution?  Do not have children with someone who doesn't have the same values, limit sex partners to people who will help raise your children not destroy them, instill in your kids respect for authority and good morals and have a basis of faith in your home!  Sounds simple but these few things would drastically change the face of our country.  I would also throw in a respect and pride in America!  We are all Americans, not "insert race identity"-Americans. We should unite as Americans against the world.  We have the greatest country in the world, hands down.  Until we figure that out and take pride in it we will continue to decline.  

I am not saying conservative policies would totally work either.  Both sides have issues and the solution is somewhere in the middle.  But faith, pride in country and good morals and values would solve a majority of our problems.  Police are not the enemy, law and order is not racist, Faith is not the problem, and most of all we are the only solution!  Govt cannot and will not protect or save us.  The government "We the People" not elected officials.  States should have more rights over their citizens than the feds and local communities and organizations should be providing the social welfare, not the government!  Small government and localized policies are needed.

 This past month has seen many states passing laws preventing "trans" athletes from competing in sports with the gender opposite to their biological sex.  This past month has also seen several mass shootings.  The one sports show I watch fairly regularly is First Take on ESPN.  As I am watching today they were discussing the Ja Morant situation. For those who may not know this player had an incident in a Denver strip club waving a gun around while "making it rain." He was suspended.  Well last week a video was on Tik Tok with him riding in a car once again flashing a firearm.  Well Steven A Smith went off about politicians sending Christmas cards holding AR-15's, the mass shootings and half of America wanting to reelect Donald Trump, or as he said "People wanting to reelect a guy who incited and insurrection, was impeached twice and is in the pocket of the gun lobby." So here is my question, why the fuck should I care what a sports commentator says about gun laws in America?  I watch the show for sports analysis, not political rants.  But Steven A is notorious for using the sports platform to push his pro-BLM, anti-white and anti-conservative political agenda.  I realize ESPN is most likely Liberal or left leaning as most commentators who lean right are not employed for long.

Now to address his comments.  An American citizen or politician has a Constitutionally granted right to bear arms. So I have no issue with the Christmas cards.  Secondly there was no insurrection incited by Trump on Jan 6 as his tweets from that day and recently released videos have shown.  And finally blaming the mass shooting on the availability of guns is ridiculous.  Banning guns from law abiding citizens does not prevent criminals from getting guns, it simply creates more innocent victims.  Most mass shootings take place in "Gun Free" zones.  And one of the last mass shooters avoided their first target due to it being "too secure." For all the idiots claiming removing the guns removes the violence and we should look at countries which have bans in place I am here to tell you, yes "gun" violence is less of course but the other forms of violence, aka knives, blunt weapons, etc., are way up.  Most of all once citizens give up any Constitutional rights they will never get them back.  

So what is the solution to mass shootings and gun violence?  For me it is a simple solution, freedom to own guns, armed security in schools and other public places, and teaching respect for firearms and life.  If those things were done we would see a drastic reduction in mass shootings and the like. A bad guy is less likely to shoot people if most people are educated and armed.  They are less likely to risk their own lives if they know at shot 1 they will be neutralized.  But back to my original thought, leave my damn sports alone.  Sports are one way people can escape from the political crap they are bombarded with every day.  Let people have a simple pleasure and just enjoy sports.  

Just to be clear

 In recent blogs I have spoken about the "trans" agenda and the negative impact it is having on our society.  It has been brought to my attention that my thoughts and feelings come across as against trans-people in its entirety, I was unaware it was being taken that way so this blog is to clarify my positions on two topics in particular, abortion and Transgenderism.  

Lets start by saying my beliefs in both topics are of two minds, my personal belief and my societal belief.  Lets start with abortion.  In my personal life I 100% am against abortion except for the medical need to save the mothers life or in the case of still-born babies.  I do not believe abortion should be used as a form of birth control.  I believe a woman and mans choice happens before sexual intercourse ever takes place.  I support teaching all young adults how to respect their bodies, have good morals and values and most of all be more selective in partners knowing the risk of pregnancy happens any time someone has sex.  Now societally I know in the end I am not the person who needs to stand before God and answer for my decisions and choices here on Earth.  I do not support a complete ban or complete legalization of abortion.  Men and women with their doctors need to be the only people involved in such decision.  Keep in mind a majority of planned parenthoods profit off of abortion and I have heard way to many stories of "doctors" at these places convincing women they NEED an abortion or their life will be ruined.  I have heard from some people due to the possibility of birth defects they were told to abort their baby, they didn't, and the children were born completely healthy.  So that's it, my extremely controversial opinion on that.

Now to the Trans movement.  When I rally against castration and HRT of kids under the age of 18 I am not saying that adults cannot choose to do whatever and believe whatever they want.  It is our responsibility as humans to protect children at all cost!  Hence why I include abortion in this blog.  Transgender individuals have a mental disorder and need mental health therapy, not hormone replacement.  But as adults people can do whatever they want to and I am not against banning those things FOR ADULTS!  I do believe any parent who pays for HRT and mutilation of their children should be arrested for child abuse.  Socially they should allow their kids to dress how they want and ask their friends to use a nickname if they choose.  But forcing families to use pronouns opposite of their born gender, cutting off families who don't and demanding lawsuits and such for people who oppose such abuse is insane.  Parents need to get their kids to a psychologist, not a "gender-affirming" doctor.  If I affirmed what my kids thought they were as kids I would have had dinosaurs, tigers and all the like.  ALL people at some point in puberty question who they are, feel out of place or feel like they don't fit in.  Until recently that was normal and not seen as a demand for physical change of your healthy body. All of us have at one point felt weird or different.  Tomboys like mud and trucks but were never questioned as boys.  Less masculine guys were never told they were girls, they just weren't so masculine.  None of your hobbies or interests make you the other gender/sex, they were just things you liked.   Telling kids under 18 that their interests define their natural born sex/gender is wrong.  Stop forcing kids to attend sexualized drag shows and stuff dollars in the G-Strings of men shaking fake tits and acting like that is normal.  Stop forcing kids to dress as a girl and answer to a girls name if they are born a boy.  Stop confusing your kids and let them be kids.  There have been trans people for as long as anyone can remember, now they are forcing kids into that as well.  The pendulum has shifted so far left it will swing back right just as far and that wont be healthy either.  I don't support bans on adults who believe they are transgender; I do support bans on castrating and harming kids.  I don't support bans on drag shows, I support bans on "child-friendly" of "family-friendly" drag shows as no such thing exists.  We don't allow kids to buy alcohol, cigarettes, get tattoos, etc. but sure let them cut of their body parts, does that make sense to anyone?

So as you can see I don't support legalizing or banning things, but common sense must prevail.  I will continue to fight to protect children, women and animals.  Those are my positions.  Feel free to share and comment.  I am always open to new ideas or facts that may change my position!

Houston, we've had a problem here

The quote originally said by Jack Swigert on Apollo 13 as the astronauts communicated their discovery of the explosion that crippled their spacecraft to mission control, has been used or paraphrased many times over the years with the most common usage being "Houston, We have a problem" made popular by the movie Apollo 13.  In modern times we rarely have such memorable quotes.  

A few weeks ago I moved back to my home city of Englewood, Colorado. One of the first things that has happened was a shooting at East High school.  A student, who had to submit to daily pat downs before entering school brought a gun to school and when it was found during the search he used it to shoot 2 school officials and later himself.  The immediate cry from Liberals and the Democrats in state govt was to push the new "gun control" bills through immediately.  These new bills add no new safety measures to the existing ones and will do nothing to prevent these kinds of events.  The kid had a made at home or "ghost gun."  One of the bills demands people register these types of guns.  But my problem is how are they going to be registered?  They have no serial numbers, no tracing of being produced, nothing to track or register.  The other thing these gun control advocates seem to forget is most violent gun crimes involve guns not attained legally.  Thus, preventing legal citizens from owning firearms does nothing but create more victims.  Most mass shootings take place in gun free zones.  Why would that be the case?  Well the criminals know there is no good guy with a gun to stop them and they can inflict more damage.  If law enforcement enforced the current laws, we had more armed security at more vulnerable locations and criminals were held accountable we could prevent most of these crimes.  The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

More than the legal means one of the main problems in almost all of these situations is similar to all other issues we have in society, lack of parental guidance.  This includes parents who are disengaged, men not being in the home and being fathers, and lack of teaching kids empathy and compassion for their fellow humans.  The answer to almost all of our societal problems can be solved with three things:

1. Parental involvement

2. Reviving faith in society

3. Teaching kids compassion and empathy

These three things give people every tool they need to survive.  People learn valuable skills and also learn how to care for one another.  It is almost impossible for any human to commit violence against another human if they truly care for humanity and are taught that life matters.  From a young age kids are taught to be selfish and focus only on their pleasure and needs.  How can anyone care for another if they only think of themselves.  For those in poorer communities they are taught they don't matter, why would they care for anyone else if nobody cares about them?  

Teaching faith immediately teaches people life and they matter.  That no matter how alone they feel, they are never alone.  Churches form communities with shared values and beliefs.  Faith teaches humility, love, and service to others.  Why is it that a vast majority of Americans say they have no faith or believe in God?  Because it is taught from early years.  This will lead to nothing but the end of our society as we know it.  

So do I think we have a problem, absolutely.  But it is not what we are being told it is.  We don't have a gun problem in America, we have a compassion problem.  That wont be solved with more laws or taking protection from law abiding citizens, it can only be solved by communities and proper parenting.

There is only one Donald Trump

 Donald Trump tweeted this weekend that he expected to be arrested on Tuesday and urged his followers and fans to protest in New York.  Throughout his Presidency the Democrats tried multiple times to impeach him and every single attempt failed.  From the second he was elected the Democratic leaders stated, "We will impeach him." Problem was he had not been in office for even one minute and they already had the torches and pitchforks out.  Impeachment is supposed to be removal of a sitting President when they do illegal actions while in office!  After all the attempts failed and he left office they began this smear campaign for actions taken as a private citizen.  They raided his personal home, found "classified" documents and tried to arrest him as a threat to America.  Problem was they never did say what kinds of information was such a risk, just a vague "Nuclear launch info" and "Threat to national security."  The Democrats have setup a very risky system of silencing or arresting their political opponents.  We have seen this in the past and it always ends badly.

If Trump gets arrested, we will see a further push to end our country like never before.  The political elites want all the power and authority and the taste they got with Covid only fueled this even more.  We have seen agendas put forward by our sitting President which will ban all semi-automatic weapons, not just "assault" rifles, even though no such thing exists.  He spoke and stated it was semi-auto rifles but when you read the bill it bans all semi-automatic guns.  This includes rifles and handguns (A vast majority of gun owners have both).  Once the government removes our weapons, we will stand no chance.  The 2nd amendment protects our right to bear arms and be able to protect ourselves from tyrannical governments.  

They also have begun laying the groundwork for taking over businesses as we saw this past week with the Silicon Valley Bank being taken over by the feds.  Rising interest rates, tumbling dollar, rising inflation, and our income being taxed to oblivion will cause an economic collapse we have not seen since the great depression.  And what can we a citizens do after our guns are removed and our jobs taken to stop them?  Nothing.  This is what they are trying to do!  And it isn't just the Democrats or Republicans, it is all of them, except Trump.  He stood between their radical ideas and us, why do you think both parties hated him from the very second he was selected in the primary?

So do I think he needs to win the primary and represent the Republicans in 2024, no I do not.  I like Ron Desantis and feel he is Trump Light.  He has the balls of Trump but the political savvy to play politics and not ruffle feathers with 2am tweets.  If you compare California to Florida you can see the economic decisions being made by Newsome and Desantis and there could not be a clearer difference in how those states are running currently.  People are fleeing California and the high taxes, rampant crime, and high cost of living for any other state they can.  Florida on the other hand has seen a huge increase in people moving to the state.  We have seen a strong sense of conservative politics and governance take over that state and people are drawn to that!  At this point even the most avid anti-conservative can deny the fact Florida is just being run better.

In 2024 Americans will have a clear choice, the grey area has been removed and it is a black and white election.  People will have to choose freedom and the Amercian way of life or allowing America to turn into another 3rd world country and giving up everything we hold dear.  We are far from perfect but we are far better than any other country on the planet!

Another break in the action

 Its that time again where I take a break from politics and talk about something else!  So this past week I moved from Tucson, AZ to Denver, CO.  Moving back home has been something I have wanted to do for quite some time and finally had the opportunity to do it.  The entire move is somewhat bittersweet for me.  I am happy to be back home but I leave behind friends and people I have grown to love over the past 12 years.  It gives me a fresh start at my company and a new beginning for many things.  The good outweighs the bad but I am still uncertain about the entire move.  

Tomorrow I start at my new position here and am excited overall.  I hate starting at a new position because my personality can be difficult to get used to.  I have been taken as an asshole when I was really just trying to be funny.  My humor can be dry and I am very straight forward which most people have a hard time dealing with.  Almost every person I have met and told I was very forward and honest tend to not like those things after some time or are offended at the bluntness of that honesty.  So what can I do about that?  I really don't know.  I am trying hard to learn from past mistakes and modify my approach but have yet to master that. 

I watched and shared an interesting video from YouTube today about habit 5 from the book 7 habits of highly effective people.  It states, "Seek first to understand and then to be understood."  That is a skill I really need to work on.  Because of ADHD I usually am thinking 4 or 5 steps ahead of any conversation and not giving the other person my full attention.  I am thinking this is a cause of a lot of the "asshole" issues I have.  If I feel as though I am right or have something to add I jump right in, interrupt and share my thoughts.  I don't do this to be an asshole, if I don't say it when I think it I will lose the thought.  The problem is the other person can think I am not listening at all or am not interested in their opinions or ideas.  That could not be further from the truth.  If they knew how quickly my brain "changes channels" they would understand I may never get that idea or thought back again.  That is the part that sucks.  Do any of you have similar issues?  If so how did you overcome them?

So tomorrow I begin my single life over again.  I am uncertain of my future but am excited to start.  There is still a ton of stuff I need to worry about but at least I am back home.  Colorado has been where my heart has been my entire life.  I love this state and love everything about Denver.  I am going to be writing more music reviews, attending more concerts and finishing up some school work, so I will be super busy.  If you like the blog please share it and check back often for updates!

Oh ye of little faith

 Taking a break from politics with this post and wanting to focus on the religion or no religion debate.  I recently had a friend on social media return to the platform after many years with a dead page.  In the absence found his faith and began sharing it with others.  He restarted the page and daily shares interesting stories, personal struggles, and positive messages.  The other day he shared a story about a founding member of the Satanic church leaving his position after finding God and realizing he made a mistake.  Long story short this week he has had an overwhelming amount of negative, rude, violent, and all other forms of crap against his sharing of the post.  Comments like "Why do you keep pushing you religion on others", "Stop spreading your lies about Christ, and here is why you are wrong", and others that just hate someone sharing something that brings them peace.  I have often pondered, as I myself have been subjected to such comments and discussions, why people who are Atheist or have no belief in God feel the need to bring someone who is religious down?  Why do they feel it necessary to "prove" to the faithful that God doesn't or cannot exist?

When someone who has belief or faith it can be very hard to show it for fear of being shouted down.  Often the response to the negative reaction is to "prove" God does exist.  This is a mistake.  Just as they cannot prove he doesn't exist we cannot prove that he does.  I had a workmate who was an Atheist and we often had deep intellectual discussions about the topic.  We are both intelligent, both can articulate our positions, and both can know in the end we most likely will not change the other person's mind.  He once asked me if I believed in free will or agency, of course I said yes.  He followed it up by asking if I believed God was also all knowing, of course I said yes.  He then had the gotcha look in his eye.  He said, "If God knows every single choice you will make, is it really your choice?"  This question made me think.  In the end I said both could exist because although he knows what our choices will be he also gives us the freedom to make the choice ourselves.  The idea he would direct every single choice everyone on Earth made is far out there to me.  But the question is still one I contemplate from time to time.

Towards the end of our time working together we had a conversation.  He asked how I knew or could prove with evidence God existed.  I told him I could not provide physical evidence as it was something I just felt.  He chuckled and said, "If there is no evidence then it cannot be true or exist."  After thinking about his position, I had a response.  I said, "You have a wife and two daughters, right?"  He said yes.  I then asked, "Do you love them?" He said, "Of course I do!"  I responded with "Well how do you know you love them?"  He said, "I don't know I just feel it."  And it was that moment he got a look in his eye and knew what I was getting at.  He knew at that moment there was no evidence or proof he loved his wife and daughters, but he felt it.  Shortly after that he came to me and let me know he and his wife had attended a Christian marriage retreat and were looking for a church to attend.  Funny enough his "lack of evidence" argument disappeared when he realized some things on this earth we cannot prove or disprove.  Some things we need to feel and trust they exist.

As a Christian I often get approached by those of little or no faith and asked why I am so convinced and think of my old workmate.  I respond with telling that story.  It is important as people of Faith we remember it is our duty to love everyone as our brothers and sisters.  To treat everyone with respect.  But most of all to share our testimony of the gospel and be willing to withstand the anger, hate and arguments we may face.  Please don't misunderstand by loving and respecting everyone we are not required to agree their lifestyle or try to prove to them why they are wrong.  It is our duty to love them and pray for them, period.  It is ok for someone to have no faith, have faith, question their faith, etc.  What isn't ok is telling people they are going to hell because they haven't found God or have no faith.  In the end we all have agency and the freedom to choose.  As I have told many of my Atheist friends, I would much rather follow a faith and have a church then get to the end and have it be black and nothing than live as though God doesnt exist and get to the end and find out he does.

The Emperor's New Clothes

   As I watched a podcast the other day the speaker was discussing the Transgender movement and the supporters or believers in its authenticity.  She made a comparison to the folk tale, The Emperor's New Clothes.  For those who don't know the tale here is a brief summary:

The Emperor was excessively fond of new clothes.  So much so it slowly began to detract from his duties as Emperor.  One day two Rogues arrived calling themselves weavers.  They began telling the Emperor about their magnificent garments made from elaborate patterns and colors.  The clothes once manufactured would have a wonderful property of remaining invisible to everyone who was unfit for the office he held or was extraordinarily simple in character. "These must, indeed, be splendid clothes" thought the Emperor.  "Had I such a suit, I might at once find out what men in my realms are unfit for their office, and also be able to distinguish the wise from the foolish! So the Emperor paid them large sums of money to begin making him new clothes with this process.  The fakes setup empty looms and worked every night on these garments but in reality did nothing at all.  They demanded the finest silks and purest gold thread, which they pocketed.  The Emperor wanted to see what progress had been made but was embarrassed as he remembered the property infused in the garments.  To avoid risking being exposed as a simpleton or unfit for office he send his faithful old minister to check on the weavers.  The minister arrives and is of course unable to see any clothes.  He fakes seeing it and listens intently as to relay the appearance to the Emperor and thus remain in his position.  The Emperor sends another officer of his court and the same thing happens.  The Emperor then goes himself to see the garments.  He realizes he cannot see it either but exclaims how magnificent they are to avoid being seen as unfit. The rogues have the Emperor strip his clothes off to "put the new ones on." Not one person including the Emperor is willing to be seen as unfit to be honest and express the truth that the clothes do not exist.  He walks about the town as the townspeople shower his "new clothes" with praise until he comes upon a little child.  This child says "But the Emperor has nothing at all on!"  The child's father exclaimed "Listen to the voice of innocence!" But what the child said had been whispered from one person to another.  At last all the people cried out "But he has nothing on at all!" The Emperor was vexed, for he knew the people were right; but he thought the procession must go on now!  And the lords of the bedchamber took greater pains than ever, to appear holding up the train, although, in reality, there was no train to hold.

  I found this a very apt comparison as those of us standing on the reality that men cannot become women and women cannot become men get cancelled, called names like Transphobe or even extremists all so the illusion that is transgenderism can spread.  Not until enough people stand for biological truth and are willing to acknowledge the reality that gender dysphoria is a mental health issue that requires counseling and not hormone replacement therapy and gender assignment surgery will we begin to help those in our lives that need it desperately.  I have sympathy for anyone suffering from these mental health issues.  Just as I would not tell an anorexic they are fat and tell them to ask their doctor for weight loss pills I am unwilling to tell someone with gender dysphoria to go get parts cut off and alter their hormones.  The best love we can give to family or friends struggling with this issue is the support to seek treatment from a qualified Psychologist!

The Trans support has attempted to change the language used, give us new "pronouns" and have begun indoctrinating our kids at a young age.  Any adult has the right to think they are whatever they claim to be but when it comes to "transing kids" I am avidly against it.  As I have said of many left leaning positions these movements are all self-centered and egotistical.  Every single one preaches "how does it make you feel?" "Your feelings need to be validated" "If someone disagrees, they are an ism or phobe" To quote Ben Shapiro "Facts don't care about your feelings."  That is the major flaw in the left's argument, feelings.  Yes, we all have them but when it comes to mental health the feelings of love and caring are pushed aside to protect the persons self-perception.  

Lets embrace facts, biological reality and stop being so self-centered.  Our children, friends and family deserve honesty from us.  We need to care enough to be honest and not hold up the train which fails to exist.
